I just realised, two of the best fps players in Hololive went against each other in a fighting game; Towa VS Botan.
I feel like I'm watching a Japanese TV show but it is filled with Vtuber. Thank you GG for making this possible
Personally I much prefer the natural easy going and casual atmosphere of the standard 3d stream but this is a nice change of pace and not like we get it often
I mean, that's pretty much the format of the show.

ギルティギア好きだしずっと進化し続けてきてるし初心者が上達するためのシステムなんかもかなり考えて作ってると思うけどやっぱり格ゲーのプレイ人口って減りがちだからこれを機会に少しでも知られて人口増えるといいな

Considering the fact that shes the only EN member actually living in Japan, Id say that at the very least shes by far the most likely to actually be available to come on the show once they all get their 3D models.

This was a great episode, Botan made for a fantastic guest and Marine mashing the home button was hilarious.
As someone who loves Guilty gear and Hololive, this video made me very happy!
Now, just imagine Arc Sys using the Hololive roster to create a new fighting game IP!!
Inject that into my eyeballs immediately!!
Only if Yagoo is the final boss, he is best girl after all.
Also, it would be cool to see a few HoloStars mixed in there too.

I can actually see them doing a holo fighting game. It could take some time, but it could work, wether it's in their 2D style or 3D style, and BOOM! You got yourself a holobrawlers that includes all branches (JP, EN, ID and holostars).
I think its biggest issue would be the roster. Having all of the members at once is a monumental nigh impossible task. And having say, not Aki included, people could get mad for "favouritism" and things of similar caliber.

I really hope everyone here decides to try GGST again, on their own time or a collab. Nothing makes me more happy than seeing button mashers slowly grasping the ideas of what to do in a fighting game.
A hololive GGST tournament would be particularly hype, if they're up for that.

I like how Botan, despite not having a good grasp of the fundamentals (of GG:S and fighting games in general), was discovering them through the course of her play.
Like discovering cancelling, and trying to find bread and butter combos during the match, and even found some of the parts of them (Ky especially).
Plus her discovery of learning movement mechanics like air dash (RIP for not finding ground dash though)
And she even started play a beginners level of footsies (though of course she doesn't know how to capitalize on hits with that)
In other words actually trying to learn the game.
While the others except Subaru...button mash city.
Guess who is going to get better at the game with their approach?
As a 10th floor axl main this is what the first 8 floors looked like loved every second, such a godlike kara cancel pot buster

A-chan really got me in the first half. Thought she would play "real guilty gear" when she started to roll her neck and ask about not holding back. Should have known that she was also a masher. not sure if her pot buster and hammer fall were on purpose tho.
