And the industry is working just as hard to replace the textiles used to make the clothes. The aim is to have a circular process where the clothing can be redesigned, reused and then recycled. Many companies are investing in the development of new biodegradable materials such as Pinatex for example. The 4 industrial revolution is here to stay and it will need new work force, jobs will not be lost, but transformed.

Austrian economists. I no longer believe the `jobs will be redistributed` bullshit. The scale of job loss will lead to a significant % of unemployment. Let's wait and see.

The Garment Industry has long used automated machines which in my opinion were never really totally profitable, but I do foresee that AI can sew these maters once the hands of AI can become versatile. I am totally excited to see this work one day soon

You are wrong: this is reality. The control by suction plate and precise alignment of edges is reality.

You obviously know nothing about IT. I suppose it was people like you who laughed at people like the wright brothers when they explained how machines could fly in the sky.

The Germans already made much better stuff back in the 1950s. This machine is crap and a joke. Go check out Alder or Brother for the real modern stuff. Too much machine handling is always the sign of a crappy engineer. You should have done more research.

I can't see how any technical innovation has benefited people. It just creates more low grade jobs as the machine takes any skill out of a job

@@darahauspage Dude those are modern sewing machines but they aren't automated the whole point is to have less people needed to do the same amount of work

Workers: But why do we have to take a 200% pay cut this week? Manager: "Our competitors now use a machine and do it even cheaper! Work harder!" 👀 Yikes, this is cut-throat business.
