    Thanks for watching. We gotta stop giving people the wrong impression of how Myers Briggs works. Either way it will happen but this kind of stuff is making things much worse

    They need to hear this. So many of them have not read the MBTI original descriptions and definitely have not read Carl Jung. You said it best, a lot of these people are mistyped. It’s just about being seen as “special” for some of them.

    An interesting take on this INFJ type! Thanks for sharing to inspire my MBTI channel. Randomly discovered your channel through the RUclips algorithm! 🤟🤟🤟

    yeah I think there's a lot of flaws in the systems naming, like feelings, thinking, intuitive, and sensing imo aren't good ways to describe the functions.

    Hey I really like your videos. It's hard to find good vids on ISTP talking about INFJs. Can you make a video about what you love when in a relationship with an INFJ and why it works so well?

    • @mkingISTP
      @mkingISTP  Год назад +1

      I’ll give it some thought. I think for ISTPs it’s one of the top ones that work for us usually. The the best necessary but it’s up there. My first gf was one when I was a kid I think

    You’re describing my bestfriend lmaoooo. I see her toxic side and it’s what you’re describing. She has recently been self absorbed and egotistical. Girl can’t handle her pride getting hurt either smh. I hope she takes my advice one day lol.

    Many Infjs are 4’s and also have a ‘rare’ complex, not all such as those more well rounded ones but many others are covert narcissists

    It is internet "MBTI" pop culture that is propagating these misconceptions. It's all about your "rarity." The original MBTI book, Gifts Differing, written by Isabel Myers, emphasizes that no type is "better" than the other and that they are just different, and excel in their own ways. So does David Keirsey, author of "Please Understand Me II," which also talks about MBTI at length. They were not type elitists.
    And special blame goes to 16personalities for popularizing fake MBTI to the degree we see it.

      Exactly and I actually did video talking about this the other day I will upload soon. But yep people don’t want to do the work and actually research or learn how it really works it’s just the next trend for them

    I'm an INFJ and it annoys me so much when I search for some memes and I get to read another load of pseudo deep texted images that say how special poetic crybabies independent wolves INFJs are 🤮 Why can't we just talk how we're normal dudes who panic when forced to do a suprise task in the moment, stiff walking sticks who can't even joke back to keep the vibe up and end up making everyone feel awkward and many more.... Why do some people instead of trying to see their own mistakes and try to be better, to adapt in order to be a useful society member just go over to the Internet to whine there how they're "not understood"...
    That was a great point about modern society pushing a narcissist agenda. Never thought that ISTP would be the one to inspire me to trace back to the old traditional christian values :p
    Stoicism is really not my thing. I think it goes quite against human nature (maybe just mine)... I much prefer epicureism.
    And yes, we do have problems with identifying our emotions, you are a really good observer (perciever hehe). I heard it many times throughout my life that whatever I think is immidiately written all over my face even when I think I'm completely fine and in control...

    • @mkingISTP
      @mkingISTP  Год назад +1

      Yea man it’s all just a trend to them. And thanks. Even as a kid I’ve always been very observant. And the whole stoicism thing literally just comes natural to me I can’t believe it’s something people are actually learning how to do but it’s not an INFJ thing for sure.

    INFJ isn't the rarest type for females (actually, ENTJ is). It's just that INFJ is the rarest for males. Most people haven't read cognitive functions based on Jungian literature. Some INFJs can be really awful. NiFe do have tendencies to be narcissistic "dark empath." They aren't necessarily stoic.
    I've noticed that female INTJs and IxFPs tend to be mistyped. IxFPs often prefer to feel "special" but the truth is that there's nothing special about being an INFJ. Female INTJs have wrong ideas about INFJs and rationalize themselves as INFJs. I've met a female who was literally the most obvious INTJ. She has absoutely zero FeTi. Everything about her screams Te but she thinks she is an INFJ just because she has feelings. She thinks INTJs are cold robots who have no feelings lmao 😂
    Agreed, ENTJs aren't necessarily alphas. In fact, they are more likely to be sigma than ESTPs or ESTJs. I've noticed that male ENTJs are disinterested in alpha, beta or sigma thingy. They are more self absorbed (not in a bad way) than people thinks. They simply don't care for social perception of societal hierarchy, and are more focused on themselves. In fact, i found most of them to be mostly humble as compared to INFJs.

    • @mkingISTP
      @mkingISTP  10 месяцев назад +2

      I agree with all of this. It’s really too hard to tell which type is the rarest to say for sure but if I had to guess I’d definitely say ENTJs are more rare than INFJs in general. I’ve met way less ENTJs. The fact that the only reason people are interested in and want to be an INFJ is because they hear they were rare is just narcissistic as hell in the first place.

    • @illegallyliving8357

      @@mkingISTP Wow, I've met 4 ENTJs in my life and i always found them to be fascinating. The way they navigate their ways into the society and how they sympathize with people is so different. It's like rational way of sympathy, which attracted me the most. They can be considerate and unemotional at the same time. It's intimidating but yet, so warm somehow.
      I've met only one male INFJ and he was weirdly rude to people. It was off-putting but he sometimes had points people are uncomfortable to hear. I've met 2 female INFJs. One of them is healthy, married to an ESTP (i know it's unexpected) and they are such a couple goal.

    • @mkingISTP
      @mkingISTP  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@illegallyliving8357 yep. My best friend who I grew up with was an ENTJ. I read somewhere that my type and ENTJs can get along because we both sort of view life as a game. ENTJs are really generous and kind people usually. In fiction they are like the best supervillains but in real life most are the opposite. And yea with INFJs for me it’s a hit or miss. Some are cool and some are complete assholes and unaware that they are.

    using "thinking" and "feeling" is such a dumb thing to say to begin with lol, like they're these separate buttons you press and keep going🤦. The problem is intense glorification, not "stealing" traits imo. Traits aren't singular to each personality type but shared amongst some. Every type can be defined with a set of traits picked from other types imo.

      Yea that post is for shallow people who can’t go in depth to really learn. I’ve had a few people still try to say that post was correct even after explaining functions to them. Can’t save them all
