Shouldn't that prayer be between you and god. By you posting that on here, you're just looking for gratification for yourself. That prayer didn't say anything about keeping anything bad from happening to other people. Just you. I always ask God in my prayers to keep everybody I love and even people I don't love safe.
The LBs, CBs, DBs, are giving up 30+ points in regular season losses and playoff. Lack of tackling, weak WR covering, and soft physicality on defense. Draft defensive players who tackle and play physical!
Been like this for two decades. People blast Romo, but he was having to put up 28 plus per game to come out on top. People always talk about the offense, but the D line and secondary has been awful when it matters way more than the offense.
You might want to cut them a little slack. In those losses the defense played 45 minutes of those games. When dak chokes he chokes the whole game. But if he on he’s on for all of that game. We have a lot of good players. But I fear their only rotting on waiting vines.
I'm glad there are other intelligent cowboys fan out there that see the issues with the defense.
WR Lamb is all you got on offense, because Cooks, Tolbert, Turpin, are not enough in the playoffs. There's too many good WRs in this draft, get one!

Who do you think the Cowboys will draft?
I think if we can trade down with a team that has picks 27, 35 and 104 we can pick up a great OT, OC and RB at those picks. I would go for Tyler Guyton then Zach Frazier and then Jaylen Wright at those picks after securing those 3 I would pick DT T'Vondre Sweat, Jaylan Ford or Tommy Eichenberg at LB. then either Edge Austin Booker or Javon Solomon after that I would pick WR Josh Cephus and then my last picks would be OT Walter Rouse and DT Jaden Crumedy
Move back, and try to pick up a 4th round pick maybe even a third. Might require you to move back twice and go with the A&M backer or NCST kid and go OT then RB. I’m definitely moving back, too many holes to fill. This is a soft rebuild and they started it with the QB trade they made this yr.

We don't need to trade up to get a great OT, OC or RB at our 1st 2nd and 3rd picks we can trade down and still get what we need at those picks.

Olu (PSU) is a Prototype LT and in my opinion a close grade to Alt. If he slides past #12 would you be onboard to trade ‘24 1st ‘24 6th ‘25 2nd to get him? Olu and Tyler on the left side would be scary and we can’t draft well in the 2nd round anyway.
If I could get him for the 2025 2nd, I would have interest, because I love Olu. But I don't know if that's enough AND/OR if Dallas even would

We don't let two starters leave without having players ready to step in. If our idea is to replace them through the draft no way. We will a T or C with our first pick no matter if we move back or not. This draft is so full of OL players and we have drafted heavy with OL we can flex. But no Dak this year Trey is our starter and the rebuild begins we are so cap strapped I don't have any idea other than letting Dak go

Romo injuries accumulated, and he noticed he didn't play another down. BTW Romo had 4x 8-8 seasons , 2x 19 INT seasons, 2-4 Playoff record, .590 win loss % in 10 seasons. The reason is always relevant 😂

I'm satisfied with the offseason so far. The Cowboys should not pay Prescott in the way that he wants to be paid. He's very good statistically. He's not very good at winning the big games. Cowboys fans have had enough of not winning big games. By not making moves in the offseason, they are showing Prescott that he's largely wasting his time playing for the Cowboys in 2024. That's particularly true if they do the right thing and draft defense. That would make clear that if Prescott wants to showcase himself in 2024 for a future team, he has to do it with the remains of the 2023 offense. This situation should persuade Prescott to seek a trade before training camps start. Then, the Cowboys can trade Prescott and maybe some others, get plenty of 2025 and 2026 picks, and let the new coaching staff in 2025 have the resources to build a team that will compete for the Super Bowl in 2026 or 2027.
None of this means that Prescott isn't a good person. From everything people have said, he's a great guy. If he understood that he's not that good in the big games and were willing to adjust his salary expectations accordingly, the Cowboys could probably build a Super Bowl team around him without mortgaging their entire future. I'm not interested in the Cowboys putting themselves in salary cap Hell in three to six years just to make a run with Prescott right now. I'd rather persuade him to take a trade and plan for the Super Bowl window to open around 2026.
That's NOT going to happen with DAK. He will not agree to any trade this year. He will play out the 2024 season and be a FREE AGENT next year. No NFL team will seek a trade for DAK this year with picks. All NFL teams know he is FREE w/out any picks next year!! It's not rocket science.

The danger for Prescott is that playing out 2024 on a team that knows he's a lame duck and knows the coach is a lame duck is that the play around him won't be very good. If the Cowboys pick a developmental left tackle, Prescott will spend 2024 with less reliable protection on his blind side. One hit could leave him injured, and even if he recovers, teams aren't going to pay as much for a quarterback coming off an injury year. If the Cowboys make him try to showcase himself with the remains of the 2023 offense, he might have a lousy year statistically. On top of that, he could end up with only seven to maybe nine wins. Once again, that's not the kind of record that will make teams want him as much. He may find that the high contracts he expected to get are not being offered. He may find that no owner except Jerry Jones was willing to entertain his delusion that he was worth all of that money.
I don't expect another team to offer the huge trades that Deshaun Watson and Russell Wilson got. On the other hand, a team that could agree to financial terms this summer might offer a first-round pick in 2025 and lower picks in 2025 and 2026. That would give the team the guarantee of getting him for a salary cap hit that the team could accept. If anyone really thought Prescott could lead them to success, maybe that would be worthwhile instead of having to get into a bidding war at the end of the season. Even if a team offers nothing more than two second round picks and two fourth-round picks, that's a better deal for the Cowboys than keeping Prescott on the team all year. For the team receiving him, that gets them out of a bidding war at the end of 2024.
