  • 2009 v star 1300 with mods. Great winter project. One thing I did that's not on here b/c it wasn't set up yet is a custom key cover from starparts.org Awesome designs plus hides the key very well.

The auto tune goes with the power commander. It replaces your stock O2 sensor and regulates the power commander on your riding habits. You don't have to get one all you need to do is have a dyno done, but if you change out stuff constantly you will have to pay every time to have a new map made. I just went with the auto tune and it remaps every time. Thanks for watching and keep the rubber on the road!

@christblackwell Thank you. I removed the backseat due to the fact the wife was pregnant and couldn't ride. I have the quick detach backrest so the mounts are still on the bike all it takes is 4 bolts and I'm ready for a passenger. You will love the bike, I sure do. Thanks for watching and keep the rubber on the road!

@rerun5568. I haven't noticed any bag warping at all from the pipes. They are very well built. I love them plus there's lots of storage.

@73FIREful I use the jack stand for simple maintenance and plus when I added the luggage rack I had to jack it up to get under the rear fender. It all depends on where it's stored and how often you move it while it's stored. Mine is in the garage and I moved it a lot trying to get things that I needed. So it never sat on the jack long enough for storage.

@73FIREful They are the Yamaha bags. I had the throw over soft bags but there just wasn't enough room for anything. No issues at all with these bags. It depends on the style your looking for and the price range your willing to go.

@75mothergoose well I had to cut off some of the bracket where the reflector was attached and the ends of the cross bar because it stuck out past the plate

@2191104. I just went to the dealer and looked through all their parts catalogs until I found them. I believe it came from tucker rocky but I'm not sure.

Your mods are awesome. I put my tag into the fender. Where did you get the luggage rack? I have the two sweater as one piece that I want to change to a one and a rack. Awesome bike though
