- A super exclusive coverage of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force whose existence was kept secret for well over 20 years when it was raised in 1962. Cameras for the first time at Indo-China Border inside Mana Pass Valley, known as the Valley of GODS. This episode contains rare footage of many secret weapons that were issued to ITBP when it was a guerrilla force guarding our northern frontiers. Also first glimpse of ITBP’s women soldiers the famous “Jhansi ki Rani Battalion”.

Its unbelievable. HD picturization on icy heights! Hats off to RSTV
I salute RSTV for bringing in such a nice episode. They (ITBP) are the symbol of valour and sacrifice. They deserve the highest respect.
Superb episode....inspiring one...salute to our ITBP soldiers and to my brother at 9:14....
excellent program by rstv...Few suggestions from my side-
1.ITBP soldiers lead a very tough life away from the comforts of the cities and thus education and health facility of their children suffers. Armed police forces esp ITBP and BSF should be given benefits at par with Military or atleast should be better compensated than civilian people.
2. Attrition is very high(many soldiers leave armed police forces) due to no career progression. Promotion avenues are not good bcoz all higher administrative grade officerial post are occupied by IPS officers who although might be academically good but are not expert in managing Army like battalion structure seen in Armed police force. On field practical knowledge is much more relecvant than theory and practical knowledge is gained by experience. IPS officers training is not as rigorous and they spend majority of their career mainly with civilians. Thus they donot know how the tactics and intricacies of these specialised forces. Promotion to worthy officers from within the Armed Police force like ITBP ,BSF or CRPF should be done. Otherwise Officers get discouraged from performing his duties.
3. Educational schools and healthcare for our border police is very bad. Many jawans esp of ITBP have to get their leg amputated just because they didnt got timely care. Educational schools and hospitals on the lines of Army should be established. Doctors generally donot join because of tough nature of job and frequent transfers and better avenues outside. Better hospital infrastructure like Military Hospitals should be established and Doctors should be sponsored for higher education in return for fixed years of service. This will help in reducing casualties in Border Police forces
4. Regular upgradation course and officers should be encouraged to write Thesis on their job and their academic training in their core job should be promoted. In this way vast data of practical experience can be stored in database and referred to in future when any situation arises. Also feudality runs high in officers. Feudal mindset dulls the mind. Regular education and upgradation training makes forces battle ready and committed and expert in their job
