Hiding the health risks....... 😂😂😂😂😂😂
... stop selling them!
Does the pay out stop the reasons for the pay out or do we get a pay out every few decades?
Diversity is our strength.
" 32.5 billions that will come out of smoker's pockets in the Way of higher prices on cigarettes 🚬 👎 huge companies never pay a single penny ✌️
Canadians should also pay back trillions to the tobacco business then. It was a boon to the economy of southern ontario, made part of our country and tens of thousands of hard working citizens became prosperous. I knew many of the farmers and workers in the biz who thrived on it and built up successful lives paying trillions in taxes on this success. Anyways, the smokers knew the risks and took on the risks. This is not the fault of tobacco comapnies and certainly not anyone today working or owning tobaccos companies. Not fair to punish current workers and owners for what happened 5 decades ago. I am an ardent non-smoker who hates 2nd hand smoke but suing companies for a legal regulated product is just wrong.
It was the tobacco companies that knew it was harmful but denied the facts. This is the reason they are being held accountable. Tobacco , processors, retailers .. the whole industry is much like the asbestos industry. Just because the industry benefits monetatily from the product does not release them from the responsibility of knowingly engaging in harming the health of others.
@@RaysLaughsAndLyrics who is being held accountable for their actions? Those handful of tobacco execs in the 1960s, the few who perhaps were hiding risk data? How are you going to get them and hold them to account, I wonder now that they have been dead 20 years?
