Hello :) I'm back.. (it's your fault for being so good at teaching) .. I'm creating a little booklet of poetry. And I need the four line stanzas to be centre aligned. Now drop caps seems to work only if the text is left aligned. The moment I hit 'tab' the text moves to the centre but the drop cap disappears (Although the properties still says there is a drop cap). Is there anyway to create drop caps for text that start in the centre of the page?
Hey mate. I'm not sure what you are trying to make is physically possible. If your second line is longer than the first, then the second line and the drop cap would overlap. Can you explain why you are hitting the Tab key to align things. What if instead of making a Drop Cap you just made an oversized first letter on the first line? PS: Nice work on the compliment by the way ;)
