The malfunctions you are having arent actually malfunctions. Its just that the difference in frame geometry has affected your grip such that the heel of your support hand palm/thumb presses up on the slide lock, causing the slide to lock back without thr magazine being empty. I had this problem on glocks when i first started shooting, and others only have it on aftermarket frames. People complained aboit it on the shadow systems mr918, so the mr920 and subsequent pistols have a more robust plastic ridge around the bottom/sides of the slide lock to protect against accidental activation. The easiest solution would be to get a non-extended slide release. Another option would be the kagwerks slide release, but its somewhat expensive, unsightly, and it will mar the finish on your slidd after enough shooting. In any case, great review! The holster fitment info was very useful!
Thanks for watching. Holster fitment is the biggest deal for me. If it wont fit anything I have then there is no point. I sold it because I want to build something more in line with the 19x. I still like it, just want bigger.
I wouldnt call it adequate. It fit in them, did not click into any of the concealment style holsters. The Safariland worked great. Personally I like a really good fit and secure seating of the pistol into my holsters.@@jackwicker
No. These frames can actually need a little bit of hand-fitting. Sometimes the trigger bar will rub on the inside of the frame causing issues with cycling or resetting the trigger. Once I sanded it out, it runs like a top. But they can need a little altering to get the proper fitment of everything. It is polymer. There's a bigger margin of error there in manufacturing.
My safariland ALS works just like yours but for concealed carry my blackpoint tactical holsters work with this frame. This frame is so much better than the stock glock frame.
It happened to me when i first make the change and is the way the frame is designed and the way we are just to grip glock what u doing it hitting the slide lock lever and is staying back trust me on this , if u change umto a regular slide release ot extended is not gonna happen again. I have 4 lone wolf frame and i love them once u figure that out they r amazing.
You should be able to tighten your holsters as well with adjustable retention. A lights helps too for holster fitment. I've never had a problem with any holsters, but I have an X300U on it.
I love these frames and work on them and do frame packages on them quite a bit. SOME of them need a little sanding on the inside of the frame to reduce the rubbing between the trigger bar and frame. I had an issue with a new TW frame, but after I sanded that area down, it ran perfect. Like butter. Been my daily carry, workhorse and match gun. With a Glock Performance Trigger in it and my trigger job. So if you're still having that problem you can sand it down, or if you want to send it to me, I can do it. Third Monkey Enterprises LLC
Good to hear. I sanded my new one down (sold the one in the vid), and it made failures almost disappear. I am still getting one almost every mag, almost. I think I will toy with it a bit more before making a decision on it.

@@sortoftactical it looked like it fit all of the holsters and had adequate retention, but it just didn't click in. Right?

My LW fame is good, not great. I had to sand the beaver tail to round it out. It created a pressure point on the thumb knuckle.
Thank you thank you thank you for tracing them. I've been waiting to see how they match up
Try nomad 9 frame

Agreed! Thanks for letting me know about the holster that fits well.
@sortoftactical no problem. Also my g code holsters didn't work with the frame. Just some more info for anyone who wants it

What holsters are you finding that fit these really well?
Here for holster answers lol

I had it as tight as it would go with no luck. Thanks for dropping that for me.
Maybe the blackhawk Omnivore???
I'm considering building this rather than buying a complete Glock
