I love making Zokin because not only are they easy projects, they oftentimes recycle fabrics and they are so very handy for all cleaning projects. I love your little basket with all your zokin😊
A beautiful gift, that could also be used as a cloth to cover a tray. You have inspired me to make simple zokin from old t-shirts and I find them very useful - they inspire me to dust ! Plus, it meant I cut up shirts that were far too stretched to wear
What intense action! Like watching a thriller :) Thank you for your comprehensive guide and instructions. Btw, I love my cleaning wipes. I made a few without any technique from viscose wipes that I cut to my liking. Also I love repurposing. So making such a mundane object pretty totally makes sense to me - every time I see it it gives me a little boost.
Oh was it? I felt relaxed after my very intense project with the trousers😅 I’m very happy to hear that you’re enjoying your cleaning wipe. Thank you so much for sharing😊

The Hera marks look so confusing - as you pull the fabric tight, the indent disappears. It must take a lot of getting used to! As ever, I’m in awe of your skills and how neat you make your stitches look. Such a beautiful piece. Even if it’s “just for cleaning”, there’s no reason why it can’t be made to look attractive. ❤
Thank you💕💕 They were confusing😅 Also they disappear when you try to ease the thread… I use a Hera for softer materials like gauze and they are usually fine, but it was tricky with this material…
Oh truly amazing work on this one 🥰 It's a really beautiful and full of love present that you've done 😊👍I keep the idea of offering a zokins set for my family for Christmas 😏😏😉 I've bought a timble and I'm ready to try on an old towel (as a beginner I'm a little bit afraid to start but because of you I'll dare 😁🤞🤞) Thank you for your work 👍😘
Fancy indeed and very scruby I think ! ❤ I love this motive :) What a strange use of the hera, I have some in my hakamas to keep the kochi in place in the obi but I didn't it was a sewing tool !! Thanks for this discovery !
Oh I didn’t know that a hera is used for hakama as well. The term ‘Hera’ is generally used for a flat tool with a sharp edge. There are different Heras for different purposes. The one you have may be a different type but I’m interested to find out if it’s usable for sewing too!😊
@@thegreenwrapper Maybe I should have say that's martial art hakama, I don't know in traditional ones if there's hera. That's indeed a flat piece of plastic (maybe in ancient time, it was wood), looking like a baby spoon (smooth shape ?) Not S shaped as yours. That's very nice to mark pleas but tricky as the work progress 😰
Thank you😊 I use a Hera when I draw simple straight lines on soft materials such as gauze and muslin. They are not very easy to draw on with other markers, so I prefer to use a Hera. For normal fabrics like this one I used in this video, I prefer to use an erasable pen.
Thank you😊 I changed threads by overlapping several stitches and finished them with a back stitch. I showed them in the previous Zokin video, so I’ll put the link here👍⬇️ Stitching a Zokin without using knots - learn some useful tips for making a Sashiko Zokin! ruclips.net/video/dWk4US0E8aA/видео.html
Hi😊 I usually buy Sashiko thread in Japan when I go back. I often buy them from Odoriya but they don’t seem to ship overseas. Many viewers seem to purchase them from Etsy.
It's nice to use such pretty things every day, especially for mundane tasks like cleaning. Such a lovely gift 🥰
I really like the fact that I can make practical and beautiful items with Sashiko☺️
I love making Zokin because not only are they easy projects, they oftentimes recycle fabrics and they are so very handy for all cleaning projects. I love your little basket with all your zokin😊
I agree! I love repurposing old materials too😊
What a BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING gift!!! Anyone would love to receive!
Hello I've watched your short on sashiko on the blue fabric 😊it's nice !!!!
@-MEL16-A.O.C thank you! 🤍🥰
My problem with making a zokin is that I would not want to use it for cleaning.
Thank you! I'm happy with the result!
@kathytrombetta3438 I feel the same for this one😅

I love repurposing old clothes for zokins as well! They are soft and perfect for a cleaning wipe😊
I'm grateful and appreciative of every Friday because I know there would be a video coming from you. Keep up with the great work and content. ❤
Oh thank you🥹💕💕
Love, love, love this pattern!
Thank you😊

@@thegreenwrapper Thank you! I'll comment on it when I watch it :)
These zoking look so good that I wouldn't dare to use them 😄💮
I feel the same😅
Как это файно ,гарно ,красиво вы чудо сотворили🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍я тоже так хочу 🤔🤔🤔🙄🙌
Thank you so much💕💕
Amazing~ ❤❤❤
Thank you💕💕
This is so beautiful - I could never use it to clean! 😊
Thank you! I agree😅 That’s the problem…
There are no mistakes in sewing/crafting, only 'design features'.
Love that💕💕
AWESOME!😍

That is gorgeous! I could never have that much patience😁. I will make my sister a zokin for Christmas, but I'll make simple one.
Thank you! Simple ones are the best😊

That turned out so beautifully! Would you keep using that Hera or do you think it’s better to use chalk or erasable markers?
