Tried answering a facebooker's question once with info about astrology - in an astronomy group! Bad, bad idea. Left group. Had to block several people after. Social media is better than being alone in silence all day, but sometimes it's just ughgh. I'm disappointed sometimes at how expensive decks can get, yes, but I'm not jealous of your getting them for free Simon! You put all that work into your channel for years. Another excellent live chat Simon. I don't always get chance to catch you live, but watch on catch up several times. I say several times as, please don't take offence as the opposite is intended, but I listen to your streams at night to help me sleep. I suffer back pain and have trouble sleeping and am now also in the habit of not being able to sleep without a radio etc on. As music wakes me up it has to be talking and your voice is so soothing Simon I play your streams. I am working my way back through previous ones too. Needless to say I have to play them again in the day to listen to the content properly. I've only found your channel in the last few months and although I wish I had found you sooner it means I have loads of content to work through.😊
I totally agree that multiple decks does not mean a high income. I think of decks as being the same as books, in that we usually build these collections over time. Ive collected books and movies over the years , and if I had all the money they represented, I would actually have quite a bit of money. Quite honestly though, I doubt Id be as happy as I am now. Im comforted knowing I can enjoy my favorite movies, books, and decks anytime I want. In my experience money comes and goes, but the enjoyment of these things can keep us entertained for many years🤷♂ Great discussion as always Simon!😀👍
Simon, I love how you handle difficult topics with so much compassion and understanding. I agree with you, everyone is entitled to voice their opinions and that it' s ok to have different points of views and feelings, we are allowed to "agree to disagree". We cannot be cancelling people because they do not agree with us or with what the mainstream view is for that day. Absolutely spot on, if we do not like someone or something, we are in no way obligated to be in contact with it, all we need to do is remove ourselves from the situation, without having to make a song and dance about it! Broad, sweeping statements and judgements made without any knowledge of the situation are irritating to say the least lol! Thank you once again for a lovely CC&C.
