Great review! Do you mind posting an update on how it’s held up since you bought it?
I intend to get one, but with the high price tag I’m not sure I’m ready to make the order. I feel like I need a long term review of it and I can’t find any.
it also popped up on my social media and I thought exactly the same thing. "This is amazing - I want one!" Mine will finally show up today after a week long battle with customs. Cant wait to get this up on my wall! thanks for making the video, great to see it in the real world 😊

Can you do(or someone point me to) a year on review? ie how it has worn in (whether you ever fold the desk away!) , how the hinges are getting on, how is it for leaning on when writing on paper?
So I’m nearly two years in! It’s just as fresh as day one… hinges are smooth, the frame is repurposed wood so it still looks great, and leaning on the frame to write is still perfect. The only thing to note is the table top that you write on is gloss, and loves to show finger prints as soon as you touch it, so have a dust cloth next to you to wipe it down, or a desk mat if you are meticulous 🙏🏾☺️

I'd like a second frame to hang above the DropTop because my working height is a little too low to hang one picture, it look a little odd on its own. I like the idea of a light and I think a sound bar in there would be good too'.👍

Definitely not! Its still sturdy as ever and never wobbled when I first got it. I am over two years in and it hasn’t faltered

How heavy is the droptop when opening? Do the hinges have a hydraulic system to prevent accidental dropping?
It’s not heavy, but you feel the sturdiness. There is a lock at the top when you wanna make it stay up, but if you forget, there are strong magnets that hold the desk from falling.

Thanks bro!!! They used Geefix fittings... they are theses curved plate fittings that can support a load of up to 270kg... they are really good on plasterboard! Never used them before but I’m seeing how they work on my wall, I’m definitely keeping them in mind

Would be a cool feature… Maybe a little dangerous though! Weight of the TV, and effect of moving it so much might damage the LED display!

With two new led monitors, and USB-C hub lol Nah you didn’t… the frame might have cost you €150 to make, but that’s because you know how to. Add the screens, the dock, and the convenience of someone else making it for you, and €800 is not expensive at all 😁
