Not a Liverpool fan but Slot is a very good manager/ coach, he will work well with Liverpool I'm sure. I think they'll be good to watch next season.

Looks a good fit. Liverpool also have a great structure at the club with Edwards, data teams and recruitment. Even if he's not a top top manager he will flourish under a well run club
Klopp's genius made all of the components at the club look better than they probably are in reality. Remember the ill fated and much maligned transfer committee of the Rodger era

Anybody except Guardiola and possibly Xabi Alonso (jury's still out, but no ordinary top class coach is doing what he's done even over just 1 year) is a clear downgrade- that's just reality. Having said that his resume reads as the best out of all the current options out there for us.

Good luck to him. A lot of fans were doing the same bashing when postecoglu signed with spurs. He hasn’t done too bad in his first season in charge.
klopp is right, slot gets a little help with liverpool not finishing on a high so room for improvement so the expectation is a little different. its more can he continue the good work to get liverpool back to the top which is a good scenario to walk into now.
You can tell Klopp is one exhausted man trying to just keep it together till match week 38 of EPL. Managing with that level of emotional connection with the team, supporters and backroom staff does take a toll, I hope he gets the rest he deserves and comes back to football.

Because like I've said I've been a Liverpool supporter for 38 years so far god willing for many more years to come,but throughout klopps time with us I think you could of won us a few more Trophies if fsg would of dropped the sell to buy model on players,klopp always had to work with a small 1st team under fsg over his years with us working under fsg must be difficult at times i still thjnk thats one of the reasons why klopp finally had enough.(just my honest opinion)

Basically, Slot was happy to be the LFC manager for the sake of being the manager and a yes man. Amorim would have challenged the ownership and they didnt like that. What a disappointment following a Merseyside derby loss. 😢

FSG will need to finance heavily, which means they will need to put their hands in their pocket! They brought in Slot so they wouldnt have to as he will just coach the team and leave the financing matters to FSG, which means theyll go cheap, which means we will not be able to challenge for major honors, lose out each year, be told top 4 is the achievement, fans will get disgruntled with the club, Slot will get sack and we are worse off then when we started!
The problem is FSG, the club is too big for them and if they cannot spend and back the manager to the extent that Arteta is backed at AFC at least, we will be worse for it.
