Another good one Graham with lots of information. I'm thoroughly enjoying going around all the outlying fells with you and Dave. Your genuine love of the Lake District shines through in all your videos. 🗻
We finally got a copy of Wainwright’s Outlying Fells book. Nice to read a couple chapters and then watch a couple of your videos showing the walks. Thanks, Graham and Dave.
Glorious days hiking in brilliant weather and what a way to finish with a nice cool pint, Dave 'the rave' looked like his was really going to enjoy that. How nice to see the great job they made of the new bridge at the end of the video as well, cheers Alan
Thanks Alan. A very relaxed day and despite low level this was a day of great views and highlights. Cheers as always for watching our efforts mate. Time for some zeppelin 2 now over my crunchy nut corn flakes ✌
@susanmarsh1128 having had my memory refreshed... As per Wainwright's chapter on the Fell. It is recommended you park at the Church. However because he mentions it, we drove up to the spot where we parked. By chance, a farmer went by on a tractor and said it was OK to park where we did as long as we parked tight so traffic (Tractors) could pass. We were OK, obviously, but as it was NOT official permission (wherever that is obtained) I cannot say it is ok to park there, as nowadays far more people are doing these fells and it may cause issues. I would personally drive to the spot noted and judge for yourself. Good luck, it's a lovely gentle walk with nice views on a good day.
Thanks for the info. Hoping to do it this week if weather holds up here. We'll try and see who the barn you parked near belongs to and ask permission. Not optimistic about parking at the church, not unless you get there at the crack of midnight.... Here's hoping!!!

Hi Graham. When you did Green Quarter did you ask permission for where you parked?
@susanmarsh1128 long time ago Susan, I am out and about at the moment. When I get back I will look up my records and let you know 👍
