Gonna miss Luke in Season 7!😢 The saddest thing about Judas is that, if he'd waited for 3 days, he could've been forgiven and had been such an amazing witness in the New Testament! Really sad. 😔
It’s hard to say. I think Judas’ tragedy is that as the man who betrayed Jesus he may have seen himself as beyond saving and redemption. A well adjusted person doesent hang themselves you know what I mean? Jesus resurrecting wouldn’t erase Judas’ sin and Judas probably would have felt the same way. It’s hard to say though. It’s only speculation. Who knows what would have happened if Judas had held out long enough to have seen and talked to the risen Christ? Maybe he would have been remembered differently in history.

@@mikeblast7507 But people can (and do) forgive others (in their heart of hearts) when someone they love has committed suicide; guess that means the heart of forgiveness of Man is greater than that of God's (according to your theology). However, Luke is a talented actor; perhaps we will see him playing a different role elsewhere in the Chosen Cinematic Universe.
Luke is gonna be until season six, the last scene they filmed was the betrayal at Getsemani Garden, so maybe he will die in firsts episodes of season six.
I imagine he’ll have several moments in season 6, but basically nothing with the other main actors most likely. So they’re kind of saying goodbye to him this season.
This really makes me curious: does Judas die at the end of Season 5 or will he die in next season? Season 5 is holy week - but where will they end it, exactly?
Did Little James say that they are in fact going to do a series on the book of Acts? That will be great!
