Just look at Laura's face on the opening pic and video. PURE BRIGHT SUNSHINE! :-) She's such a blessing to me/us, lifts my spirits everyday from this dark gloomy world! We LOVE you too, Laura! May God always bless and protect you and your family! Thank you so much for just being you and sharing with us here!
It is so nice to see a normal young couple! You and Grant give me hope for the future! You guys work hard and deserve all the success in the world! Keep it up! Sending prayers for your grandpa. 🙏🏻
I just watched a program on woman farmers in Maryland on MPT.org. I thought about you especially when they showed a grandmother in a combine. She did all the driving on a much smaller field. While not a farmer I throughly enjoy and learn from your presentations.
I want to see how to farm with new technology in your country. I am an Indian farmer. I enjoy farming and doing new things in farming. I enjoy watching your videos every day and also learning new things. Thank you very much
I know nothing about beans but I remember delivering Sevin to farms. Go with the liquid and it's diluted with water and sprayed on foliage. I grew up on a cotton farm and enjoy watching farm videos.
Great video as always. Not sure if it would work; depending on how you have to gain access to the pivot points, (down a row or across rows), but think about using a small kids Red Flyer type wagon (or similar) to drag your center motor/equipment - tools to the job sites. Just an idea!
@@joelbittner6212 Yeah but the tower would have moved. I know, the punch would still be along the pivot tire track and she would know which track and the general compass direction from center, but SLIGHTLY more challenging to find. But I think the thing to do here is absolutely believe in RUclips time travel and say: @Laura Farms, don't forget the punch. 😁
Laura, you're still the best; and I still look forward to every video. As I've mentioned to you before, as a farmer myself, who lives and is involved with the same types of crops and livestock in northeast Missouri, I am continually amazed how little - even farm-raised, family members and local, small, farming-town people - know about current, grain & livestock farming. I keep telling all of them to look at your You Tube videos. - still one of your biggest fans, Missouri farmer Doug.
About the same here in Indiana. Don't have irrigation in this area, but go 20 miles to north and soil is completely different from the clay here, very sandy. Lots of irrigation there.
The Fields that Dreams are made of. When we were growing up and traveling when we needed to use the bathroom the Corn Fields were our bathroom. My dad grew up on the family farm in Baxter Minnesota so it was authorized.
I was thinking exactly what you said. That the pivots all look the same. Lol, pretty funny. Good luck with the Beatles. I hope the beans are okay. And the corn 🌽 is looking fantastic.
sheer bolts for the win!!! I'm guessing your dad told you what bolt to use? those bolts are generally special so that the break before the center driver or outside drive will break...
make a checklist whenever you go on a 'field fix' that is far from a vehicle - makes it easier to keep track of what you bring TO a site, versus what you take back FROM it...
Hey Grant: I use one of those foam rubber cozies with the bottom cut out for my water bottles: Makes it fit tight in the cup holder in my Silverada...Cheers
Have fun watching your video every day and learn new things. I am also an Indian farmer. How can I cultivate my land easily? How can I cultivate your country? I want to visit your country.
UGH. Japanese beetles are a menace around my area too. They can defoliate a very healthy 15' broadleaf tree in a week. Carbaryl is the chemical I can get as a consumer but it's pretty hard to apply that to a 15' tree. Even if you can apply to smaller, shorter plants, it has to be reapplied several times over the season. Turf control is important too because eggs are laid in the ground.
They wreck roses and apple trees especially. The fruit Laura was mentioning was probably her apple trees. I'd hit 'em with some liquid sevin. That'll break 'em from sucking eggs!
@@joefudd They go after several species of broadleaf trees, bushes/shrubs, and fruit-bearing plants. I have two plum trees that they love, and my in-laws have raspberries and grapevines.
Yeah tbh, I never know which pivot or field your at. The only time I have any idea of where you might be is when you get the sheds and grain silos in the background.
OK you get a like 4 the cupholder ! So like we now know how is the smart one (( DAD )) 4 THE WIN !!!!! lol Better cupholder , colder water and more water !!! have a good day .

I keep track (sort of) of the fields and pivots based on their direction and distance from the farm buildings. Looks like the crops are doing well!
Uhm, hey the punch? 😃 Thanks for another fun video. You and Grant have an awesome life. 👍😎
Japanese beetles eat my raspberry's too, i use traps to divert them but you would need a lot of traps.
