The more videos I see from you guys, the more I internalize what an edge looks like when you're trading, and how I can build my edge on something, the only thing I think Ineed to work on heavily when I see some content like this is my technology skills for modeling and backtesting because making it manually takes a really long time lol

Good discussion gents n thanks. I look at ticks for really 2 simple cases. Case 1. Hi vol day. Here, extreme readings +/- 800 can signal a potl intraday reversal. Case 2. Lo / falling vol day.... Trade n trend direction or up as when vol is falling, mkt is usually rising.....

I gotta say. You can watch tons of videos online but looking through all of the RUclips gurus and public traders, I've never seen an individual have the ability to concisely translate a chart quite the way Ryan does. This young man has a genuine understanding of the market at a depth that 95% of these common retailers don't. SMB has a good one with this guy. I can hear the genuality in his voice

C’mon man you know its more complex than that. Always depends on context of the day and timeframe youre looking to trade off of

Is there a version of the indicator on tradingview?
Yes, but is not an indicator, it’s a market internal
So on trading view you should click on “Compare (it’s next to indicators)” -> type NYSE TICK
And don’t forget to uncheck the “Overlay on the main chart ” box

Tick/Q works great on NQ, love how Ryan uses VWAP, TICK, Volumes as his entry and exits, thanks for sharing Ryan, I too love the VWAP :) This video still INFORMATIVE a year later Nov, 6, 2022, u can tell by the way he talks, he REEKS of experience, amazing explanation of using the TICK :)
