I have those Jordan ultra fly 2's in green
*Nice video btw
Loved it.
what can I do if I am really bad at finishing like I am terrible around the rim with defenders. I am skinny . what are the requierments to be a great finisher.
Learn different spins and hand positionings, traditional, hook, underhand scoop, overhand sidespin, underhand side spin, ect. This will help your touch.
Secondly you have to initiate contact with the big man first! This may require you to hit the gym and get stronger. Going to the gym will also give you more hangtime which makes everything in finishing easier.
Thirdly you have to learn different footworks to throw off defender's timing. These include: off foot layups, one foot layups, floaters of one foot, floaters off two feet, spin move into a layup (like in the video), spin move into a floater (like in the video), euro steps, ect.
Finally, you must learn to cuff the ball in different ways. This will protect the ball on the way up to prevent it being slapped out.
Cuffs include: high ball (over defender's hands), low ball (under the defenders hands, rugby gather (ball into your chest, wraped firmly by your arms), high ball (shot fake on first step).
With these four levels thoroughly drilled, you will be able to come up read the defender in front of you come up with the right combination of footwork, cuff and lay. Few have their layup package fully extended in these four categories, but if you do, you will be unstoppable at the rim.
There’s no requirements, you just need to be aggressive and learn what works for you. Try different moves in workouts and practice, and don’t be afraid to mess up. I’m 6’ and 120lbs so I had that same “skinny” problem.

YT metrics are wacky for new videos. The channel owners have no control over those.
