Este último tema se estrena en colaboración con el artista turco Buvu, y la cantaora Anamar.
La canción alude al concepto de la amistad, del compañerismo y de la sororidad entre mujeres, interpretado visualmente en el vídeo en el que se representan los diferentes estados vitales de una mujer.
Una canción dedicada mutuamente entre este dúo para resaltar el amor y la comprensión en las relaciones de compañerismo.

"Compañera" is the new track of Mëstiza from QUËRELES, the last album released by the Spanish duo.
This track is a collaboration with the turkish artist Buvu, and the singer Anamar.
The song alludes to the concept of friendship, companionship and sorority among women, visually interpreted in the video in which the different vital states of a woman are represented.
A song the duo dedicated to each other to highlight love and understanding in companionship and relationships.

MËSTIZA es la unión de la música electrónica y la vuelta a los orígenes basándonos en una estética inspirada en la tradición y el folclore español.
El objetivo es crear una nueva identidad que tenga como referencia la "marca España" así como ha sucedido con la fusión entre ritmos africanos, arábicos y latinos con sonidos electrónicos.
Tras más de 10 años pinchando por separado, estas dos djs españolas Belah & Pitty Bernad, deciden unir fuerzas para ahondar en sus raíces y descubrir un mundo de sonidos tradicionales españoles a la música electrónica y llevarlas en sus sesiones a modo de experiencia para los 5 sentidos.

The thing about gitano culture is how they've absorbed and fused various cultures (African, Arab, Jewish, Indian, and Spanish in no particular order) over time creating an amalgam that is more (I'm not saying "better" than but "more" than meaning they have added their own unique essence to the blend) than the sum of their parts. Even more impressive given the gitanos have always been treated as outcasts, oppressed, and stereotyped in many negative ways by the mainstream cultures wherever they have wandered. To me, this is a hallmark of their resilience and you can see that pride and spirit perfectly captured in flamenco. (Of course, this isn't to say their culture is perfect because no human culture is.)
So, anyway, my point is that they would be open to accepting or sharing their culture with "outsiders" - something that I think eg would be quite hard to do with many Asian or even white cultures where your appearance or bloodline determines so much whether you "belong" or will always be an "other."
