The fees those senior citizens homes charge you would think they have a gardener and a handyman.
You would 💯
Good 👍 work Tricky nice little job.keep up the good work 👏 keep your customers smiling 😊nice job 👍 Adam
That wall was built using what we call a gameshow mix.......15 to 1😁
🤣🤣🤣
Hahahahaha brilliant love it a great crack 😂
The mud is there to keep the buggers apart gravity does the rest.
Took me awhile to finish watching, but I managed another one. Great work, looks amazing 🧜♀
😊😊😊😊🤪
Oi oi it's that Tricky Rick Bricky lovely old job son.
oioi cheers mate. im going live now
Bournemouth Hospital getting built 1986,
When a 9 inch block wall got bumped and fell over , official checks were done on the mortar and a few walls had to be taken down and rebuilt as a result,
the worst reading was 22 to 1
Incredible how it was ever aloud! Developers more than likely charging for 4-1 aswell.
@@trickybrickys I think some of workers were taking the cement bags home on the QT lol
@@jimcameron4672 🤣🤣🤣 not the honest brickys surely..
1st thing 1st you do great work! To do a little extra to keep a happy customer is a Perfect work ethic . I couldn't help but notice pal your working out of a really nice Benz bro ,man u ever think about getting a small pick up truck or van that's good on gas mileage for the long haul ?That Benz is way too nice to be using as a work vehicle . I know how it is my man you got to do what you got to do. I do home improvement and there was a time I had to work out of a Nissan Maxima so I get it. I quickly changed up to a Dodge Dakota. I know trucks are not cheap here in the states ,I don't know about the UK . That Benz is too nice to mess up ! I know I should mind my own business 👨🏻⚖️my bad
Definitely buddy. I've got 3 months left on it then I can buy myself a nice pickup. I can't justify paying out for two vehicles all at once. I used to be a site supervisor. So very rarely needed a truck. But covid changed all that 😆😆
Good video tricky
Keep the good work up
Nice to have short day👍
Followed you. You remind me of myself using a small car as if it were a transit and driving to all sorts of different new places to smash out jobs. I've upgraded to a Nissan Xtrail now though but used a Fiat Panda before and parked it round the corner from customers houses when quoting jobs lol
😆😆 you gotta do what you gotta do bud. As long as there is food on the table 😁
Insurance cheaper with a car and much lower overheads!
Quality job well done mate u lay a nice brick 👍
Cheers buddy 👍
@trickybrickys I'm 57 and went to college in 83 to be a bricky and was taught boy old boys on site who use to come to work in old blazers shirt trousers and grandad cap smoke roll ups
I can see that old school style in your which is nice as it s dying out old school carry on the good work nice to see cheers
Seems like a sand lime mix, with as little cement as possible.
Great video tricky keep up the good work
Thank you mate 👍
The walls getting higher but tricky backs getting benter
Nice job you should of power washed the whole wall down n pointed all the lot outside anyway wood of looked mint
A suppose it’s downy to the client wot he wanted doing
May off had to stop down there longer 🚕all about the money
Nice work any way tricky 🧱❤️🐌🐌❤️
To be fair it should have been totally repaired and repointed . Good 15 days work for the lot. Big bucks
SOUTH COAST BRICK PARTY
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Top job mate 🧱 👌
So, that is mainly lime-mortar that totally fell apart?
15-1 sands cement
@@trickybrickys Wow, why on earth would they use something so weak?
plenty to one mix!!!
You know it!
The old school mud was lime based....it was the same down here in Oz so after time it all would just crumble.
We see it from building that the convicts made here from 200 years ago.
They just literally didn't have cement !
*mud = muck*
🤣🤣🤣 I can well believe it
Jobs for the boys… title… wonder what wall would be like without bricks? 🫣😆 👍🏻
🤣🤣🤣
Can't you squeeze a few more air fresheners on that mirror bro
1 or 2 😆😆😆
what sand and cement ratio do you use, and what type of sand and cement do you use.
4-1 soft sand and blue circle 🔵 cement 😊
many thanks.
Worked on a garage in Farnborough in 1987 think it was Ford , black muck at 8 to 1 was the stipulation
Is it still standing?
Liked and subbed!
Think that wall could do with a jet/soft wash maybe?! 😆😆
Definitely 😆😆. I reckon a good jet wash and it will wash all the sand out 🤣🤣🤣
@@trickybrickys haha bit too much pressure and the whole things coming down 🤣🤣🤣
@@RichardDowd 🤣🤣 💯
Yo I’m going durasoft handle marshalltown my first one I’m currently laying with a wood handle 13 Marshall town are the durasoft handles good
I don't mind them . I'd never use a 13 as long as u have a hole un my ass. Only need a 10 or a 11. I don't mind the leather 19/10 if I'm honest
Take what you can whilst it's there. London is absolutely dead right now.
Londons booming geeze
Are you mad? London dead 😂😂😂
Getting mixed signals here. Dead or alive?🤔 contemplating returning on the trowel.

Nice little job looked like it all needs pointing, keeps the wolves from the door😁have a good weekend
Bet that mortar had fairy liquid in the mix 💩
So what
TRICKY you need to run your own business yup
💯
i worked on a house in cheltenham as a labourer and i was asked to take an internal wall down. the stuff that was holding te bricks together....i say ''together'' was crumbling like sand but it was a victorian house. the whole building needing rebuilding ideally but it wasnt.
Old lime always does that internally. I gets no moisture indoors. Proper cement is much better
I’m looking to get a bricklaying apprentice in Cheltenham can u help me ?
It isn't meant to be taken down. It's strength is going downwards. As soon as it's disturbed then you will make more problems for yourself.
Eeey looks mint mate💪💪 extra mile always helps 🤜🤛 getting quiet now ain't it mate
Yeah mate. I'm grabbing anything I can. Wherever it my be. I'm going into London this week 😆😆 ulez land
@@trickybrickys thats it. I have a job. North London. Repointing 4 bed Edwardian house if you want it. Been done in sand and cement. It's just too far for me. Want the details? Throw us a lil drink if you get it

Tricky get a bloody truck already! You are mucking up the boot on your Mercedes.
I need one badly. Buddy. I just can't afford it right now 😫
@@trickybrickys sell that over priced roller skate and get a proper Lorry LoL. You have inspired me to talk more “English”. I’m actually enjoying it too! 👍🏼
Guten Abend 😁😘 oioi 😍
The only thing thats going to save that wall is a coping stone. 10 to 1 mix😮
Weak as isn't it. It needed taking down completely. But they are never paying for that unfortunately 😔
They couldn’t find a local bricklayer
Nation contact fire 🔥

I love watching things like this .. I love how you can see and learn how past generations built Stonework/structures
I use to hate history .. But now I am older , It is amazing to see past generations and their work on the British landscape .. All the way from centuries old Castles to modern days homes .
Keep showing it off Tricky lad .. You never know .. Generations down the line will be looking at your work mate .. lol
