Excellent review. I too had Int 650 ealier and now own the Red BSA Goldie. Its been just a month and i agree to everything to what you said. BSA offers all that a Matured Biker will look for. Kudos to Classic Legends. I am sure your reviews will help and inspire more prospective buyers to zero it on BSA Goldie.

I have been keeping an eye on this since it released august last year. I am currently doing my 3rd year in BE. I hope to own this bike by the time I finish my college.

Your review makes me want to buy the Goldstar😀. Proper review👌. Glad to know the weight is very manageable. Btw I picked up speed 400 recently because it’s lighter in comparison and quite happy with that too.

    Coherent and enthusiastically reviewed.
We don't have the option yet in The Netherlands, but maybe I'll have to score one in the UK.
I've also subscribed having enjoyed your review.
    Thanks.

My heart said to buy GS 650 but my head said Bear 650 due to lack of service centres and sales showrooms in Gurgaon. Finally ended up with Bear 650. Loving it though.

I really wanted to buy this bike but ended up with the Guerilla 450. I just could not conjure the extra 60k over the Guerilla. Maybe next time and hopefully it will have either tubeless spokes or alloys as option.

      You are most welcome.
Pricing, only your local dealer can help you out best.
The top model in your area should be around 4.2 Lakh on-road.

Great video and explanation on the ride!!!! I'm considering to buy Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 because I rode the older version in Leh Ladakh road trip and fell in love with it. However, I also test-drove this BSA Goldstar, which handled city traffic exceptionally well, leaving me a bit confused between Himalayan and BSA and really loved it. I'm also curious about the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 since it also comes under my budget.
I prefer bikes with a taller seat height since I'm 5'11" and want something comfortable for longer rides (though I don't do them frequently). Recently, I rode Honda Hiness around 100 km with a friend who owns it, and I found the seat extremely uncomfortable, and the seating position was quite bad and it hurt my thighs badly and a little bit of back pain.
Could you help me decide based on my preferences?

      @SHIFTINGGEARScom  2 месяца назад +1

The INT650 is beautiful, the engine is butter smooth, but it is horribly uncomfortable.
If you're going to ride over bad roads much during commuting, get the Himalayan.
Or else, the Gold Star is a good choice. Provided their reliability is proven with time. The GS650 though would feel a little small for your height.

@@SHIFTINGGEARScom thank you for quick response. I had a teat ride and didn’t find height issue. Sure will take another test ride now but more km than short ride to see how it feels. I’m not off-roading quite often but I really like Himmys performance and ride. I’ll keep u update after buying one.

"I recently purchased a BSA Goldstar from Synergy showroom in Basvangudi, Bangalore. Unfortunately, I've encountered numerous issues since buying it. The bike has broken down twice, once just two days after purchase and again today. Despite reaching out to the Jawa team, the assistance has been inadequate. I've been left stranded on the road and have had to leave the bike for service multiple times. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against buying a BSA Goldstar. It's been a disappointing and unreliable purchase."

I have a Jawa classic 2020. It is too good when the clutch and the piston sync and an amazing machine. But, the problem is that some times it clashes between clutch and piston and feel very rough both machine and the gear and loose power. I can't explain how good it is when it is in sync. No machine can compete. But i wish Jawa give me some solution, please...............................If you want I can give my number. Please give a permanent solution for the consistency of the overall performance. My bike has serious issues with the clutch and the sensors and also the handle balance!
