I didn't ride enough last year. I'm feeling retroactive regret. As implied at the end of this video - you only get so many years to do it before you become unsafe on the roads. Definitely time to use up some of my month-long summer vacation on an epic ride this year.
I used to live in Savannah. Brought back some memories at the Bar Bar!! Also former cop, rode traffic motors on those cobblestones. Not any issues as long as the persons knows what they are doing. 😮 great video!!
Love that trip. I did the Dragon that first summer of COVID in 2020 with my new-to-me FJR1300. Drove up from Sanford to Asheville on a Thursday, rode around and then rode the dragon on Friday, then headed home and got back Saturday. FJR gets me up there rapidly, yet relaxingly :) great content as always!!!!
I live in western NC and bought an Iron 883 not long ago after watching your videos. I really want to ride up through the mountains soon. Thanks for the motivation to buy the bike and to go exploring on it
Saw your Warr's t shirt and got a smile. I was stationed in London from 05 to 07. Used to hit Warrs, 3 Rivers and of course the Ace Cafe all the time. Had some crazy times over there on my Electra Glide.
Love the stuff from Wheels Though Time! Been wanting to visit but haven't had the chance. Looks awesome! Those were some fancy places to stay. Great video, guys!
I cant believe this came out today. I recently purchased a 06 police street glide. I removed the ABS and chopped a lil too many wires. Now the bike wont start because of the security system. I will try the tan and green wire trick, just to get it going! I also wanted to chop bags and fender but I did put 10”pull back OG. Insane!!!!! I cant wait to watch more!
Been there done that with the side stand up & figured its either my back, leg, or let the santoro bars do there thing 😅. Not a mark with the front & rear bars, its a great ice breaker 😂
Crazy how far your channel and now the garage as gone yet we still see some familiar faces pop back up from the older videos. Keep up the amazing work and awesome videos😎👍🏻
It's fun watching you guys... I like the idea of a map on one of my saddlebags showing the states that have gone through But I do have to say that the hotels and the airbnbs would not be in my budget so I would be camping or bunker biking
My daughter and I used to run through Indiana Michigan Ohio on my vintage 86 Magnum... We would take out on a Saturday morning and she would just tap my shoulders when we came to crossroad as to which way to go... We made a point of trying to stay on two lane back roads as much as we could and if we stop to eat we made a point of stopping at a mom and pop diner we avoided chain restaurants... Young daughter has grown up and moved on and has a family now so I no longer have my original tailgunner... But the missus has taken an interest in riding.... So we'll have to see where this new shift takes us
Rock n Roll!!!,, That was a very cool ride with the hommies..Im from Cali so that would be a long ride down there. Maybe one day. Ecellent vlog. Be safe and keep the rubber side down..
I never knew corn hole was a game. Only knew the vulgar term. The first time I’d ever heard of it was on a video where two men were fighting and an old lady was trying to break them up saying, “Gentlemen! This is a professional corn hole tournament!”😂 I nearly died
12:29 mark. Tell me your state has a problem with people just randomly parking on the highway without telling me your state has a problem with people just randomly parking on the highway. LOL!
Wow, the Dragon is far more developed than when I first rode it in the early 2000s. We rode with my BIL and SIL... I was a new rider on a 2003 Honda Shadow. I learned a lot about the timing of rolling off the throttle while following my BIL. His exhaust would pop when he did... that was my hint to do the same. We all rode to top and we waited and waited for my SIL to meet us. We were just about to go look for her when she arrived wearing a shit eating grin and yelled "Weeeee " very Hooks-like from Police Academy!
I wonder where the hell this guy gets all his leaded gas from for all those golden oldies!!? effing good video here, all of it. Wish I had a movie sized screen to watch it on the next time, oh yes, i'll be watching this a couple times more. Just thinking back to the early days of mystry man Block's YT channel, and I remembered that it was here that I bought the first ever merch from a Moto related channel. Since then, only bought spent money for merch from 2 other channels, 1 in Tampa (yes, him) and 1 in UK (Doghouse Customs). What a good surprise to see the one and only H T U again, Mr John Maxwell, thanks for taking us along on this trip, greets from Switzerland, Steve.
I just did a 2656.7 mile trip From Maggie Valley NC, Gulf Shores AL, Punta Gorda FL, Titusville FL, Savannah GA, N. Myrtle Beach, back to Maggie Valley NC video on my youtube channel. Ride Safe..
As you know the roads leading up to the tail of the dragon can be twisty as well so I was taking my wife one year to ride the tail and we pulled over to gas up before we got to the section of the road officially known as the tail and that the gas station my wife told the cashier oh I was nervous about writing the tail but it wasn't too too bad I'm just really relieved that it's over and the lady noticed which way we were coming from and which way we're headed and she said oh honey you haven't got on the tail yet after that my wife was so worried that she ended up pulling a groin muscle holding on the bike. She was a good sport to go with me!
Blockhead, im from Greenville SC. What was the name of the 2nd place that you stayed in NC. It couldn't be far from me. We go thru franklin, highlands, Wayah Rd all the time. Hwy 178 from 64 in Rosman to Hwy 11 SC is a good ride. 11 goes all the way out to I26.
I can tell you I already watched the all. of the episodes and all I can say if you want a lesson in how to ride in a group, watch this video, and if you want a good laugh watch this video about who ends up with the key ?😁😆
BRUH!...if this came out 2 hours ago, why did I dream this trip like a week ago..I knew Blockhead was one of my favs, but dreaming your vids a week before they come out should win me some kind of prize...not the key master special, cause I knew what you were gonna say bro, a week ago😂🎉
Having a nice room with a sofa and a big tv to sit and in uk people would think your getting paid way to much if you can sit down with the feet up and watch tv at work lol
Start slow and small. Like really small. Maybe Grom small. When the bike doesn't intimidate you, you can learn to actually ride instead. So many Harley riders are absolute dogshit riders, they don't know dick, just break out a credit card and get on a giant bike they fear and then forever ride going straight with zero technique. Once you have the skill, being shorter almost ceases being an issue, there are great videos on RUclips for instance of a very short dude riding a giant BMB GS, and he does that with pure skill and elegance. Sure, he has to hop off it to stand at red lights, but he makes it look easy. So skill will compensate for just about anything. Have fun.
Anyone else see at 6:37 the guy on the bike in the shop in the background just about earn the key!?
Wait...Justin plays piano ?? That cabin and waterfall were something straight out of movies. Looked like a fun time with good people. Cheers !!
😎🎹
Loved that museum tour! Thanks so much guys!

Ive had my license for a year and still dont have a Bike. I'm only 5'3 too so i feel like most bikes wont be good as a first bike.

Cherhola sky way.
I don’t see first aid kits.
Looks like a fun time without all the filmed shenanigans seen to grab attention on other channels.
