In first year university, my professor somehow got the original film print to this and played it on the 35mm projector that was in the theatre we had our classes in. That was one of the best viewing experiences

I saw this dvd sitting on the shelf at the library. I don't know WHAT on Earth I was thinking, because the cover art was truly bizarre...but I borrowed the dvd anyways. I ended up loving the film SO much I bought my own copy. It's great that the chapter stops are right at the songs, which basically listened to again and again. I personally feel it's the greatest of the most recent film musicals (sorry, Phantom, Chicago, Cats ??!?, Les Miz, La La Land, West Side remake).
