Thank you buddy for this video, I have a tower coming later today to point the front of my house and hopefully get on the roof to sort out some pigeons under my solar panels. I have never used one of these before so this video really helped structure what I need to do. Fab!

Nice one definitely some good tips there!👍 For the platform I have tied a straps on both sides and pulled up over the tower to get up and tie so it's taking the weight then use the strap on the other side to lift. Not perfect but takes some of weight out of lifting the platform! 😃

Hi Kieran. Can you put the platform on the very top section of the tower? Would this be a risky thing to do? If I need to reach my roof which is about 5m in height, what type of tower should I go for? 6m, 7m?

Thanks for this video. I've been up on one recently and it moves more than yours. Going to reposition the diagonals and crossmembers like yours are as looks super rigid!

If someone had filmed me putting mine up it would have replaced the Two Ronnies "Four Candles" sketch as the best British comedy..... I near had a hernia, then spent the next three days saying Hail Mary's every time I went up the bl**dy thing (and I'm not even Catholic). Nice one Kieren - you've just made me feel even more inadequate - although in my defence, I am 68 !!!

always put horizontals( reds)on the upright then you can set it up without worrying that it will fall over ..why do you not use the ladder provided.this is all wrong.how you haven't hurt yourself . you should take this down.this is how not to set up a tower.
