The stories are awesome 😀 .. I began my adventure into airsoft in 2011 going through youtube and came across scout the doggie and got hooked.. Purchased my first LPEG's along with a spring M14 through airsoft megastore.. Upgraded very soon after to my lot of chinese clones a couple dboys m4's a JG G36 and a dboys scar16 .. An year later I came across ICS and purchased a CXP18 I was now in the mid tier and never looked back I've had various brands and models since but I've settled on Tippmann M4's I currently own two .. My funniest story in airsoft came about through my local field that hosted a two day event with hundreds of players.. I joined up with a group of navy corpsman with plenty of experience that I did not have .. Needless to say I followed as they led .. I ended up sliding down a muddy steep hill into a waist deep swamp climbed trees and was introduced to the dead crawl all for the most epic flank and take over of the opposition's respawn
Where are you guys from? Western New York? I am from WNY, East Aurora to be exact. I go mountain biking and hiking at Hunters Creek park often, it’s 5 minutes from my house.
Do you play in new york or travel. I live in central new york and play at an abandoned rock quarry with a few friends and my dad but id love to play at an actual field
Do you have any thoughts of the SAI/EMG 2011? i was looking at buying a sidearm and saw this, reviews are fairly good, but im not sure, dont want to waste my money.
my first gun was a little pump action gun that shot small black bullet shaped projectiles, after that i got cheap pistols from the market, i actually lost that as i took it to school in my bag and started shooting people at break time, looking back im surprised the police were not called. oddly enough i got into air-soft accidentally, my gran died and left me some money so i figured i would buy something i could mess around with for fun so i went onto the first air-soft website that came up which was justbbguns, i looked around and liked the sound of the gg cm16 gbbr as it seemed quite realistic not knowing anything about air-soft guns or brands at the time, anyway i placed an order and later found out about a fb page dedicated to how shit this particular retailer is, the guys on the page pretty much told me all about air-soft and what it was and pointed me to my local sites and some good guns etc, so i cancelled my order without any fuss and bough a src sr4 sd gen 3, which was a great gun. ive had a ton of other cheap guns also. my first game was a bit shit i turned up late as i got lost and was the only person wearing normal cloths, i brought this terrible bolt br47 erg rifle that was a pile of shit and didn't shoot anyone the whole day, and also annoyed a few people as i ignored grenades and explosions.
If Andre is Amy, i'd like to hear how she transitioned and continued in Airsoft. It would probably make a great human background story....There is a very small population that is Trans and probably doesn't care what the regular guys think......
