Greeting from Chiangmai.... the guy was trying to help you. He said he will ask some one to drop you at Bangkok... If you meet someone who is drunk then its different but people here are so friendly. I have been living here for 4 years now and I never encountered a bad, nagging guy. People here are helpful and kind.

Its a very thin line to judge when you are on a go and moreover do not understand a language. Any misjudgement can lead you to danger, maybe the guy was a little touchy which made him uncomfortable although he was trying to help. It is quite relatable to womens or girls when someone tries to be touchy. I think its a wise decision when you do not feel connected to someone you should let them be. 😇

You misunderstood the man who you said "He was trying to force me" at 1.57. Actually, he wanted to help you to hitch a lift to Bangkok. But his body language was not friendly and you can't understand his word. That's why you tried to go away from him. The sadness was shown on his face a little bit. However I'm glad to see you enjoyed travelling in Thailand. Thank you.

I think your charm from your genuineness of your videos. Your videos are way more relatable than other youtubers who have better passports and resources. You talking hindi definitely helps.
I'll start making my videos in my mother tongue, Kannada. Not many people will watch it, but it will come from the heart. Thankfully, I have some kannada footage which I was routinely sending to my parents when I was travelling.
As Nelson Mandela says "If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart."
    Thank you.

Most of your hitchhiking videos are very expressive, asking for lift on road could be humiliating but the way you tackle these situation where most of us don't like to do, You take such unconventional challenges and overcame at eaze(comfortably) I am so overwhelmed with couple of your videos that it teaches people to be grounded........ speechless!!!

Its a reciprocal thing i think, since the vlogger is polite and respecfull thats why all the thais that he met also treated him with such respect and kindness in return...
thats said, thai people in GENERAL are quite friendly and helpful..anyway the army officer in the begining simply said come here i will help you out, no point standing there doing it that way, no one will pick you up! ( literall translation)

As far as the gentleman (Army officer) is concerned, after reading all these comments about him I really feel sorry for all that happened. I wish I could have understood what he wanted to say.
Anyways, I send my thanks from core of my heart to the gentleman :)
