Great video, bro. I'm currently shopping around for a new desk and relatively speaking, this one is fairly inexpensive compared to most of the quality built others out there. Being 6'5", I'm always concerned about knee room and you mentioned some type of blocks they provide to raise the height of the desk? A couple of questions regarding this; how much room is there from the floor to the bottom of the keyboard tray, and how much is the height adjustable with the "blocks" you mentioned in the vid. This info would be a big help.
Go under the table and route out the area where those knobs were hitting.
Glad I saw this. Was thinking about buying. Definitely not going to now. This desk is way too expensive for these types of issues. Some of them not so small.

It seems they are custom-made to order. Additionally, it took about 18weeks as well. Mine is still boxed up. I want to get my room treatment up first before I put things together. I'm now worried that I may have major defects, cracks. But still. I think it's a sexy looking desk.

thanks for the honest review! I just ordered one. I gotta ask though - 3 furman power conditioners + a surge protector in the back?! what are you doing that you need that many outlets?! haha
My old desk was on wheels and I wanted to be able to move it around by just unplugging one plug. I'm only using 2 of the Furman's right now and one of them is just for turning my speakers on and off.
@@gregkocis ahh nice okay. Update on my desk - mine came super early. Ordered on 2/9, delivered on 3/19. They must be picking up speed now.

OMG that crack! That’s exactly what happened to me. I stopped assembling because of it. Is it normal and just cosmetic or will it cause more damage or weakness? Do you think they will send a replacement?
the part that cracked i don't even see as its on the legs and on the inside - the desk is up and strong.
@@gregkocis I wonder if the crack is going to grow wider or longer over time. I’m taking it to Home Depot to put some wood glue in there
@@aswinbeats the two pieces of laminated plywood that split on the legs will probably grow over time, as the humidity level changes over the course of winter/summer (depending on where you live). I would say to try and sneak some woodglue in the crack, and use a toothpick or something small like a business card and get some in the crack. buy a couple of hand clamps from a hardware store and clamp it together.
@@87_North thanks. Output replied saying that there are dowels and glue connecting the pieces and that the leg won’t continue splitting
@@aswinbeats if they are dowled, then this is true, they won't split. Dowel joints need a lot more than a little crack to split. Good to know that they use dowels in their glue up constructions
is the keybord tray good ? does it move if we play keyboard ?
It’s good although it doesn’t stay under the desk well when you are not using it, I some thing keeping it in place
