Love how at 27:47 you're like "Well, just fought to the death with one of the only humans I've seen in days. Guess I'll catch a lil' nappy nap next to his still-warm corpse as it bleeds out onto the stonework."
This wasn't a Saturn or PlayStation game, my dude. They didn't have nearly the flexibility, resources or knowledge to make a 2D game as pretty as Symphony of the Night.
Pretty sure nobody knows this until they actually beat the game(or very late in the game). So I'm not sure your point at all , unless it was telling me I was wrong for thinking that way when I was a kid? Good for you I suppose. Also he wasn't actually immortal, it was the power of the fountain. And he end up dying by the main character anyway, but thanks for the "33 year old spoiler" about a game I already played, sure made the difference.

To this day, the single hardest video game I've ever played in my life. Didn't know there was a Mega Drive version.
Man, this wizard dude must really like Mortal Kombat, he's fucking RUTHLESS 🤣
that was awesome
This game predates Mortal Kombat by over a year
@ThePolishValsion Shao Kahn liked the Immortal then XD
I have to say: this game has great action animations
The nes version looked fantastic for what it is
And here I thought I played the first Diablo game when it came out in 97'. So much for what I know, lol!
This game is so badass, a bit too difficult thou
BRILLIANT! I've found a gif of this game on Pinterest, when the Wizard blows the Orc's (or whatever it is haha) head off
This game definitely needs sequel and prequel on the same engine!
It's so weird to see it in a higher resolution than NES but with a border around the screen
Literally the same graphics as the Amiga version, with the border and everything
@@mortenera4423 It's such an exact conversion that it retains the janky frame rate.
Great Game!
Wanna know the worst thing about this? EA in the title screen
Let me just lie down and catch some z’s next to a dead body 😂
This might be better compared to the NES version, but the graphics might need a improvement, except for the gameplay. It's normal!
Lembro que eu não conseguia progredir neste jogo. Mas sempre alugava ele na locadora. 😅
Why did i rent this game when i was like 4 years old
Bababooey
Thank you for the bababooey
GameproTV for the win.

👍
The background is always the same, and that feels very boring to me; they could have included caves or other places.
You? Bro you dont even fathom how hard was to develop a sega game back then
Dude, these are amazing graphics and color for a sega game from way back then!!

@@GoodOleDFT Check out Comix Zone, Earthworm Jim, Castlevania: The New Generation, etc., and tell me if there aren't any available resources.
one of my 3 first games in my sega... this was awfull
Music wise, this isn't the best version of The Immortal compared to the NES version.
Small price to pay for being better at literally every other aspect.
When I beat this game for the first time I was thinking...for a so called Immortal game the main character sure dies easy.
[Spoiler for a 33-year-old game I guess]
That's because the titular IMMORTAL is the game's true antagonist, Mordamir.
