Love this review, I have always wondered about these machines. It would be awesome to try one someday!
Deranged Off-Road Had a old & yes it was fun / but can beat you death ... glad to see the up grade on steering & speed. This one would be the one to have. There unstoppable
My dad had a old one from the 90s these things are just a over all tank
This might sound picky, but why in the world wouldn't they use stainless bolts to connect the handlebar to the steering column?
Brand new unit and those things are already nice and crusty.
Just bought a 2021 model, love it
A legitimate player In the side by side business! Come on dirt trax! It’s an Argo....
I have this argo. The shifting is a pain in the ass.
I hear there is lots of problems with argos specifically with the warranty.
The new Aurora models would have been close to perfect if they had added 2 more inches of ground clearance and floated level in the water.
Obvious problems that have never been addressed. Look out for those hidden rocks and stumps! Forget about just making it pretty...
I really like my inflatable boat and my snowmobile, but this new Argo is even more exciting than the original! I can see it getting more market share now than in the recent past. Sweet rig. Any word on track kits for it?
Nice they're opening up to people other than geologists and surveyors.
I saw a good video of them on the Rubicon.
If going on flat road style trails is your thing then this is great , try some off road rocks logs and hills see how well it works ! And in and out of water better be boat ramp style or your gonna bury the front going in and rear coming out dress with wet suit . And yes i know this as my father had both 6X6 and 8X8 . Oh hope you have good chiro coverage cause your back gonna need it . Only thing they have on they're side is they float . As for the price buy a used quad and sled both seasons covered ! ! ! Bet this gets deleted .....
IRON MAN My back is broke/ glad to hear they have a new steering... & 40 mph is a lot better then 19 mph. I had one & sold it cause I just couldn’t take the beating ... ( they will go about anywhere ) I agree on the 4 wheeler part . But would still like one of theses in the barn. But I beat there $$$$$$$$$$$ to much

Can I wakeboard behind the Argo?
Love my argo
Always wanted an argo for the cabin!
Nice to hear they up dated the steering/ it was ruff & 40 mph is tons better Looking to get a new one hope it’s not over priced
I want one !
$28,000? Even if I were rich I’d have my reservations on that price for what you get.
If you go moose hunting in Alaska this will get you almost anywhere
Yeah i feel the same. Very capable machine but it's very simple to command a price like that
To get 33 horses out of an 850 cc is definitely going to cost.
@@andrewepperson4458 ??? Can Am and Polaris are both getting 78hp out of their 850 cc's
Again saying its top speed is 40mph. But the website says its half that. So what is it? Make a video showing it doing 40 with gps or something so we can be sure!
plaid13 there is a video showing it at WOT running 46KPH so ~28mph.
Mine runs 25 + , if you must go 40, get you a side x side , let me tell you though, that lake crossing will be a bitch
I have yet to see any detailed information on the engine bay, drive train and frame of the new machine ,Argo seems to be forgetting the improvements needed for amphibious operations, the lack of a retractable wave breaker on the front of the machine and no increase in free-board to improve safety on water .
I've always wondered about the center of gravity on these things and whether or not they'll stay upright if they get swamped.
These bad boy are fun..... I got 2 of them
Fantastic I wish I could buy ono O will when my ship comes in or when I win lotterywest
G00D Evening from Auckland, New Zealand it’s Monday, 27 April 2020.
Roll cage? Never roll over. Of course they would-and then?
Great video
Will the Argo handle salt water?
Sure. Go take it out on the ocean and see how it does. Lol.
@@andrewepperson4458 lol
Hmm...40mph top speed? Website says upper 20's
It still needs suspension and a diesel engine preferably a Kubota 34hp.
Nice god bless
Uuummmmm no! You can't coat this turd with sugar and call it yummy! What do they cost??? Sorry not going to work at that price. Argo needs to lower they're price and expectations
Heloo
Cool but wayyy over priced imo
Roto tiller ride, turd performance in water
So I assume your side x side does better in 10 feet of water
@@cooperb8068 it does ride like a rototiller, and you better have a life jacket in 10 ft of water, not to mention current, fuggetaboutit, Missouri boat ride
@@Colt-tf6xf I don't have an anchor in my Argo , you won't need an anchor, your driving 1
@@Colt-tf6xf I've buy a new Argo every 2 years for tax purposes because I'm an outfitter, I have yet to sink 1 , I want to see you drive a side x side across hells canyon with a quarter out elk
@@Colt-tf6xf those of you that don't like Argos , can't afford 1
looks like its been built cheaply. so much cheap plastics
Great video
