- Today's battle is with Tyrant Xerxis versus Zevanna Agha, the Fate Keeper. This is a 50pt battle using the Steamroller 2017 Scenario Breakdown.

Fun report and entertaining to watch. I notice that Xerxis cast Rush on himself a couple of times. Unless the wording is different for Skorne, Rush is target warbeast so he is not a valid target for the animus. Love the Grymkin theme music too!

You make the best warmahordes vids!! Every time i see other make one, they film the szene from above and never change the angles. Its so boring, when you are not into hardcore competition. You cant see even so models right.
But you. You make it with so much love. Its sad, that your batrep are so rare. So thanks for that greate content and i hope to see more warmahordes.

Xerxis can’t give himself rush as it says only friendly warbeasts. Also the gladiator can only be forced to cast it animus once.
I only rushed Warbeast It was Xerxis cast rush on the Gladiator, though I will say that I did make the mistake of casting rush twice off the Gladiator oops sorry guys.
Jeremy Herndon on another listen it does say xerxis cast the gladiators animus on itself not himself like i first heard.
Jeremy Herndon although i do have to ask why you were in masters of war theme? You really didnt get anything free from the theme or have enough units to make the most of the abilities given from the theme. In my opinion at least
Masters of War gives all my infantry ignore Tough, Kovnik Joe and other list like that are the Meta where I live so I used the list I had painted dropped to 50 points for the battlerep. Though I think I may have accidently marked Xerxis as having rush so I may have accidently done it. Hope not.

Question? I'm new to Warmachine/Hordes, but at 13:30 when recording the 12 damage to the Bronzeback, shouldn't all the damage be recorded to the 3 spiral before going to 4? Meaning why was the last circle left out?
You're completely right - all damage should be applied from the outside in, so there should be 2 boxes in branch 4 left open, not 1 in 4 and 1 in both. Player error?

i missed your battle reports so much. Youre reports are on of the reason i came back to collecting and playing. I would love to see more Battle Reports but only if you can maintain the quality....if not , never mind stay with the quantity as it is.

Oh bliss. Still so well paced. Either I understand the game better, (unlikely), or you can communicate the significance of activations economically. The report does not stall.

I really like these, my buddy is trying to get me to start a faction and play. Toss up between cygnar, cryx and trollbloods. I think your models are very well done. Super job!

Great battle report. Is it just me or does everything in 3rd edition either move faster or have some sort of shenanigans that give them an inch or three extra movement?

Xeries went into the 4 inch crows aoe... it's just a point of damage but for the purposes of the table state.

+Brent Russell A few people have tried to sell me on that game. The thing is I really have more interest in aesthetics of a wargames, moreso than the mechanics of gamey games. Guildball looks like a perfectly fine game, but I'm currently moving toward 40k and Bolt Action. Plus, they have tanks and robots.... =)
Got it, it's tough to beat 40K for that kind of thing.

So Warmachine & Hordes is all about that if you lose one flank your "General" get intantly killed and the game ends.
Its allways fun to watch but the games end pretty fast.
I know man, the minis are pretty good, I've been thinking about start collecting some khador ones, but the rules are surely tricky.
Basic rules are simple, actually. The trick is not even in personal unit/model rules, but in interaction between and among them.
I would suggest Company of Iron as an easy and fun way to start. There aren't any warcasters, so the game is a little more "straight forward". You can watch my Christmas Battle video to see how it plays.

rush only works on warbeasts 10:36 and you cant cast rush and run 10:56

Interesting, I m not familiar with the Hordes armies. Looked like alot of fun to play.
Fury is an interesting mechanic to get used to. Focus is a lot more intuitive for me.
Gotta check in every now and again to remind myself why I play 40K. Sorry this is straight JV. Looks like a tabletop version of Skylander Giants. GW has nothing to fear from these minor league games. Oh, and how come the witch is a walking house with the weird globe thing from the Dark Crystal on top?

8:03 I'm cringing a bit? Skorne turn 1: Rush is Warbeast only, so Xerxis can't put it on himself. Also, warbeasts can use their animus only once per activation, so that's another illegal move on his part... Grymkin turn 2: Ghostly doesn't allow you to move through other models... Otherwise, amusing. All errors could've been planned around, probably the most significant is a shift in Xerxis' deployment.
I don't think Longfellow knows how to shoot non-caracters...

Jeremy Herndon 3:30 token behind him... Did you confuse Miranda on that one? Nobody's perfect, and this isn't a competitive channel, but is educational.
Jeremy Herndon: Also a Warbeast cannot cast its animus and run in the same activation like at 10:55.
I think it was a misplaced token but watching it maybe I did make the mistake of casting Rush on Xerxis if I did I apologize, Also Didn't remember about the Warbeast not being able to cast animus twice totally my bad, nobody locally realized it either. Also I think at the 10:55 mark I charged Lord Longfellow and failed the charge not running, but again this game was in Feb and I may be misremembering but I hope not.
It wouldn't be the first time this channel's narration is slightly off of what actually happened... I know there's a pretty good gap between playing and recording the narrative. It's not too easy to see how far Xerxis moved turn 1, but 2.5" there is much more believable than 7" if he used Rush. Don't take it personally, there was an error in one of my games I waited months for someone to notice, (might've been over a year before someone else did) but, it's on the internet, it'll be found.
One of my new favorite channels honestly, Im kind of a noob to war Machine and have yet to play Hoards, think we can chat and PM or something?
