They haven’t worked properly on the mafia 2 edition...disappointed as it is a very good game didn’t do justice with mafia 2
The graphics of the game were already good back in times and you have to keep in mind that when they'll do the definitive edition the game has to keep the same mood , not just the 50s but just the emotion it has to remain mafia 2 for me they worked well on all of them
@@stephanebashige4262 It had tons of bugs, shit performance, no cloth physics. Mafia 2 definitive is a trash remaster, they've improved some textures yea but that's it.

I got it it’s not worth it for the fact that half way through the story there’s a part where you get stuck and u can do everything reset the game reset the mission and u can’t do anything to prevent it getting stuck

Should play the original. It's amazing. So much cut content in definitive edition and lack of proper free roam. No access to trains, trams, no access to some locations. Although they've been made. And what they did to mafia 2 such a shame the original is better.

I think the best gaming is mafia 1/definitive edition because its look real in set '30s based on great depression era.
I always come back to Mafia 2 because of it's story, gameplay and character
Mafia 3 is so underrated. What an amazing revenge tale. And the best soundtrack. Lincoln clay is a monster bad ass. Also the 3 free dlcs are Fantastic in their own right.
For the first few hours of gameplay yes it is , but after that it becomes boring, every mission is same unlike the Mafia 2 where there was missions apart from shooting for example hanging out with your friends, selling gas station tickets and so on. In Mafia 3AI is so stupid as well

idk i dont like mafia III at all to be honest, it feels like some childish action game compared to mafia II and I, witch are in my opinion total masterpieces of art.
Simulation driving is the only way to play Mafia. Mafia III's arcade GTA V-esque driving sucks. Mafia I and II were more realistic. And for the same reason GTA IV: Liberty City beats out GTA V: Casual Gamer City.

That's why GTA V is overrated trash. Every game before it had a grit and grind feel. In GTA V you're already pulling a diamond heist in one of the 2nd mission after (cordially) meeting Michael as Franklin.

Pretty fun thing in Mafia 2 is Vito can't know how to swim?lol or maybe didn't ever the devs add their physics to swim the character. Anyway I always love this game more than times I played and one of first Mafia game series I'd play

Man, never played Mafia Series. Decided to buy it couple of days ago. Stunned how mafia 1 looked. Complete overhaul. Just finished it, and playing mafia 2 now...shame it didn't get the same treatment as its predecessor. Honestly feels like a 2010 game. Damn shame
Mafia 2 looks horrible.
I actually recommend playing original Mafia 2 rather than the remake. Maybe install a graphics mod and it will look a thousand times better. Details like NPC interactions and some other stuff was cut from the Definitive Edition.

This is literally the best comparison though. I'm an open-world gamer and what I do mostly is to explore around it's map so imagine all three maps are combined to one.

PS: The remake had a ready script and characters from the original Czech game, so the creators of Mafia 3 should not take any credit for themselves for that.

@@justinhainsworth7726 Easy. There is one absolute rule in the mafia. If you are not of Italian nationality, you will not become anything higher than a collaborator. And here they suddenly decided to change the rules and here, a person of non-Italian origin has the respect of Italians and is still growing to be the most powerful mafioso in the city. Main characters from Mafia 1 and 2 were no such powerful, because there was some logic plot.
PS: I know it's just a game, but somehow others may complain that there is no multiculturalism in the palace of the medieval king of Bohemia. Then it doesn't matter if it's just a game. Like I've heard that Paw Patrol cartoon is about white supremacy, because main human character is white ;] Yeah... Doesn't matter that there are black and even asian characters too...
I can agree with that. Not sure if it had anything to do with pleasing the left wing but concept is taken wrong. The thing is mafia 3 is not an actual mafia game, rather a gangster game.

Mafia 3 didnt feel like playing Mafia anymore, i guess it might have been a decent action game with an interesting story, but the time period never worked for me, i just cant move from the prohibition/late 40s era and its charms.
These games are always special there is something special in them they always hit different.

Mafia 3 is less difficult but Mafia 1 is ridicilously easy on Normal difficulty (Mafia 1 is recommended to play on Hard or even better Classic). Also Mafia 2 is pretty easy too in easy or normal.
Also I really don't recommend Mafia 3.
it totally sucks how you have to overwrite the old saved game to play from the start again, you loose everything.
