#100percentwatchsquad I really like throwing a shakey head just about any time. Here's my super secret method for getting elaztech baits on a screw lock - Step one: line the tip of the bait up with the screw lock. Step two: try to twist bait onto screw lock with pressing, mashing, and twisting motions. Step three: get aggravated and start to push and press harder. Step four: get mad and say some words I don't want my mother to hear me say. Step five: throw the stupid elaztech bait down and grab a regular worm and use that instead. Works like a charm every time!
You need to heat the spring up slightly with a lighter. Not to hot orbit will melt the worm. It works for inserting srews for neko rigs too! Only way to do it.
This year It's been some striker gear. I've really liked their shorts and they have some great rainsuits for BIG guys. This winter I've been using the Climate jacket and Bibs.
Im still trying to get use to the shaky head. To me its like the ned rig most of the timeni use it i get hung up on something and lose it. Lol Another awesome video Hank keep them coming brother 🎣🔥 #100percentwatchsquad
Like to fish the shaky head but stay hung up too much.. It's almost like it finds every crack in the bottom to fall into.. Great info in this video and I might have to try this bait more to see if I can find a way to not stay hung up..#100watchsquad
The baits are a silicone based material and one chemical mixed in the material makes it softer. The ratios have to be just right though. It can be a complicated process lol.
@@BassGeekyou're welcome bro. I was very curious about elaztech and stretchy baits so I actually talked to some plastic making companies lol you can buy that type of plastic to pour your own baits with now. They have soft medium and medium hard.
Heat that spring up a little with a lighter and it will go right into the elastex with ease, just dont get it to hot or it will melt. Oh and elastex(spl?) is also flammable to yeah watch out for that 😂
@@BassGeek yeah they are and that's exactly why I don't do sponsorships that require me to talk up baits and be exclusive lol. Sorry things about them, overpriced, copied someone else's idea on plastics, and no more durable than the original stretchy bait company. All good though bro fish what ya like.
Love a shakey head for Norris, I fish it year round. In the fall I love to put a little speed craw on it. But that’s our little secret
Yes sir there really is so many different baits you can put on them.
I do the same thing usually have zoom worm then a small creature bait in June bug of course!!!
Thanks Hank for the juice. I love the tips and these new colors that are coming out. Keep it up brother.
Thanks sir very much! That helps a lot
More great information Hank! Appreciate the help. Keep up the great work as always!
DAVE! Thank ya sir.
Great video all around Hank. Cool to see the variations of rock that you were targeting. Solid Work!

Definitely need to get the shakey head game going. Deadly nedly has been money for me right now. Thanks for the video Hank. #100percentwatchsquad
Or as I call it the finesse shaky head 😂
Thank you for the lesson, heading out right now on Watts Bar Lake and try it out.
I know it works on the Barr
@@BassGeek it worked great, fought the wind and current pull from the dam most of the day but I was able to catch 4, Thanks for the help!
Enjoy your videos. Thanks for taking the time to post.
Love that you enjoy them. I hope they help
Hey Hank, love a shaky head & the old June bug color is killer in my neck of the woods. #100percentwatchsquad👊
Great color for aure
Oh yea, shakey head, always wondered when to use that color, didn’t catch a stick with it in the summer. You are the best.
You Gary are the best.
I enjoy your videos, you do an excellent job. You love so much as far as baits, we need a top 3 baits of each category! 😂
That would be a cool video!
I’ve got a few packs of the original Zasha worm from Nikko and I love that they float on a shakyhead and a dropshot….. 👏👏🍀🎣🍀
Great worm
Great Info. Keep catching em on tight lines.
I will do my best for sure and thank you

Hahahaha yup that's why I started carrying both types of heads but if not I just go to you.

The real trick is to use a lighter to heat up the screw.
Great video as always… love the shakey head but with this info I can fine tune it…. Also which striker fowl weather gear are you using?
The Climate and go get’em
Will definitly try that out this weekend 👀
You’ll catch’em
Great info Hank, is the res. Froze over? Great video, keep'um coming..
I don't know it was last weekend but it should thaw out pretty fast.
Thanks for sharing Hank
Thank you for watching
The new Shakey Worms from Nikko are awesome!!
Yes they are
I bought 3 of those spinning reels really like them
They are great for the price.
Great video Hank.
Thanks
TIP - use the point of the hook to poke a hole in the tip of the worm, then screw it on. Easy pesy.
Nice
June bug is the bomb great video
Yes sir. Lot's of people just go straight to black and blue but don't skip Junebug.
Nikko baits are definitely going to last fish after fish. #100percentwatchsquad
Yes they do
I do the same thing with a zoom trick worm and I break a bamboo skewer off in the tail about an inch and it floats the tail of the worm
Nice
Great work Hank……can you tell us how you dress/what you wear for this time of year
This year It's been some striker gear. I've really liked their shorts and they have some great rainsuits for BIG guys. This winter I've been using the Climate jacket and Bibs.
Great video, it’s time to be shaking it. Lol #100%watchsquad
It is. I love it on the bluffs this time of year.

Try to go just a little lighter with the weight.
#100% watchsquad Love your videos
Thanks brother

Sometimes that can be the head but it can also be you need to use a lighter weight. Try that out and let me know if it helps.
#100percentwatchsquad you know I love my shakeyheads
Hahaha yup.

Ok thanks

I don't know for sure but some angler's say the screw causes angler's to miss fish what do you think
You just have to be sure to get that hook with to the edge of the plastic so it doesn't have much to penetrate
Whats the head in the thumbnail sir?
It’s in the description click the one without screw lock
@5.7.0bassin2 nope not a squirrel head
@5.7.0bassin2 that's why I'm asking, it's not either of the listed heads.
It's a Cumberland pro shaky head.
@@gregc2621 I got ya when I first looked they looked similar

That’s just starting to sound like a good time
