Hey , new to the game and really love pyke. I saw a video suggesting hooking first then using the E but you seemed to do the opposite quite a bit. Which is more optimal and why?

That Samira was 13/3, might help explain why she was one shotting you and ashe. Just a theory of course
they need to nerf the map 😂 amazing Pyke gameplay as usual, I tried him a couple of times but god is a hard champion to make it work, not only he dies if he gets hit by anything, he also needs to get into mele range.

If an enemy team member kills one outside of vision, it doesn't show up until all 3 are dead. He killed one a full minute before (only 2 are there at 4:27 when Singed went to check)

Collector is significantly stronger this season, which was the only item she had. I just wasn't used to new season 14 damage yet tbh

During the counter gank you lost vision because you stepped out of the bush and it was long enough for them to switch targets, and I can't blame them bc standing around doing nothing mid fight is RARELY a good thing. Also you walked back in to bush and pulled the target champion further away from your dps which was a decisional error on your part not your dps. Also don't worry about taking kills as pyke pre 6 unless you have to be the one to secure one, the only reason carries are ok with pyke taking kills as support is that they get paid by your ult, otherwise youre still just a support stealing gold from your carries. Pyke is nearly useless late game if it goes late and anyone building pyke for early to mid game when he's relevant is going to just be a hitbox gold delivery system for the enemy team at the end.

Tbh this is why I always ban Pyke. No matter what.
Imagine someone unironically saying Zwag is better at senna (Love Zwag, he's fun to watch but lol no) . That is like saying PinkWard is better at Lee sin then Heizman or like.... Ioki is better at Ahri then Faker. It's almost mind boggling to think that is anything but an insane take.
