The background vocals are "pretty" as in "girly" but there is something missing. Ruth's deep lead vocal made that song. I guess what I'm saying is that they are missing that deeper lead vocal!

Hardest part is 2 find the 1 with the deep enough vocals like in the Pointer Sisters's original version. PS's version is out if this world(and got them a Grammy), but this cover is pretty good.
They did good considering Ruth Pointer's voice is so very deep and rich that it's impossible for someone else to sing this like she does.

They covered it once live for this radio show. It's not like it's a song in their catalogue or a regular track on their live show list. This was going live on air and isn't their own, nothing wrong with making sure you get all the words correct.
