- When I can't do any pickin' for vintage bass fishing tackle or hit up a local, privately-owned tackle shop, I love to get my "retro" fix seeing what old school inspired items I can find at my local Bass Pro Shops, Academy Sports, and online. This week we check out a new exclusive Rebel Lures Pop-R and Wee Craw pack available at Academy Sports, some OG themed hat and Bomber Lures at Cabela's, as well as go on a spree at the Lurenet Paintshop where we snagged some exclusive Bandit crankbaits and Bomber Flat-As.

Man, when you put those Rebel 2-Packs on Instagram I searched EVERYWHERE online for those and came up goose eggs. I sure hope they issue those nationwide, at Cabelas up here by me. I'm definitely suffering a case of Rebel 2-Pack envy. Thank goodness those stocking caps are online at Bass Pro Shops. That Green Bay Packers cap is most definitely on my must-buy list (big props to you for giving a shout out to the Pack!). I'll be wearing that cap on the hard water this winter. I have a love/hate relationship with episodes like this: LOVE them because they get me all ginned up for new baits and getting out on the hunt; hate them because they get me all ginned up for unattainable baits! Haha!

I recently hopped onto lurenet and snagged a few Cotton Cordell Boy Howdy topwaters. I got both the tail-weighted and the prop version. Really great old school baits.
I really enjoyed the new old school looking things you’ve shown! I’ve been buying from the The Paint shop for some time now, I always buy two for one to fish and one to collect! Lol!

Always great content!! TAB was stopped because of lack of sales. My guys would put it on the shelf only to return later to take them off when they expired. Read the dates on yours!!

I spend a lot of time searching for fishing stuff on eBay and other sites similar, but Facebook marketplace is usually a good place for fishing stuff. A lot of great deals if you can catch them fast enough. This morning I seen an ad for a fishing swap meet in Montpelier, Ohio. It's not until February 18th. I'm sure you could do a search on the internet and find it. Another interesting thing about it is it's at a quality inn hotel. I've never heard of them having swap meets at hotels until I seen your video you posted awhile back. I know it's a ways away from you but thought I'd share!
The pop-R the blue one I have to find one just a tip I put a small very small drop of super glue on the back hook eye screw I have them come out when I snag one or two of them!!!!!!!!!!!
Bassin' Bud tip : Cabela's and Bass Pro will price match their website. Just let them know you saw it for less on the website and they'll look it up to make sure you're telling the truth lol. I got the Bass Tracker knit hat for 12 bucks cause of that.

I’m digging the 2nd Rebel Box , that Pop R is kickass . Never fished Rebels much , but back in the day the ( 1980s ) suspended Wee R was the real deal. Enjoy watching most your videos , I’m 59 now and still fishing a lot of Old School lures.
Those Rebel packs are great. I’ll have to check to see if my academy has any. I also got a couple of those hats. Really cool, except a little tight for folks with a big head like me. Pro tip… cut out the inner lining. Fits much better 👌🏼

Rodgers: "You too can hallucinate your best season ever under this hat, and also under the influence of industrial strength Ayahuasca." I wouldn't pay $25 for that Alice-The-Goon-Bay dish rag. (Popeye) How hard did the wife smack you up-side the head when you brought that one home? That's the kind of hat you slip on over a crash helmet when you show your wife.
