The hardest thing to do is to create something that gets funnier with repeated exposure. Yikes.
Hilarious face-acting by Browne, voice impressions and character acting by Lindley. The pulse and the song form stay intact all the way. Personal hyperbole. Inside-baseball gearhead references. Collector psychology dissected before your eyes. This damn thing is killin' me.

Lindley is having health issues; a friend of his (Doug Reynolds, who has his own RUclips channel) recently organized a T-shirt benefit sale to help pay for his medical care. The music business has no respect for genius, and our for-profit healthcare system is unjust and insane.

@@glengoodwin9111 , Lindley passed away 3/3/23. 2 benefits for him were held that raised about 70K to help pay off his medical and funeral expenses, so that his wife and daughter wouldn't have to worry about money for a while ( I bought 2 t-shirts and left a donation). Henry Kaiser posted a lovely and heartfelt Requiem for Lindley on RUclips, with home movies of their trip to Madagascar to record with local musicians. It's on the Cuneiform Records channel.

Thanks for posting this- sure wish the whole thing was there. Dave was responsible for me acquiring a host of weird guitars from pawnshops in Flint Michigan back in the 80s. I told Dave this when I met him in San Diego way back when. I totally understand owing all this crap BUT I sure down own a Dumble- which is a little out of place in this crowd- kind of like a Maserati in the garage along with an old Ford Falcon.
