really nice review, love how you focus on the practical and emotional elements rather than technical!

Thanks Eva! I actually filmed the technical specs but decided to omit in the final edit because I’d just be regurgitating info that is easily available online. Appreciate your support :)

Thanks Ed! To be fair your review is 100x better. I may have watched your before ordering and not even known it 😂

Hey Cody! Amazing shots you got there. I was wondering at a few shots like the 3:08 there’s a streak at the bottom left corner. Is that an overlap on the footage rotated?

Good eye yes unfortunately when I desqueezed one of the clips I also rotated it and then copy and pasted the attributes to a few other clips and didn’t notice til I hit upload

Thanks Swiglet, one of life’s greatest joys is just walking around with a camera and catching the magic of everyday life.

Love the shots bro - can’t wait to get the Blazar Remus’s in to shoot around with those.
The variable desqueeze on the 50 always seemed annoying to me; glad I’m not the only one who thinks so 🤣

Thanks Jireh, I used this PL to Sony E adapter. amzn.to/423sL3p

@@codylarosa how is it? Is there any wiggle or play? I’m looking for a solid PL to E adapter that’s why 😅 i just got the 50 and the 85mm version of these lenses as well

@@JirehTorres I have no complaints so far, I actually bought two of them and they both seem to be pretty solid. I’m no pro on adapters but seems like for the price it’s worth it.

technology is so advanced now that even the cheapest lenses can rival vintage glass. its almost too good anymore.

Yup I agree. There’s subtleties that can never be matched but it’s now easier than ever to get something that looks good. What’s your take on this good or bad for the industry?
