I like how the guy only protected her when she wanted to be protected. If she walked away from him, he didn’t follow her. He protected her when she needed a break, but most of the time, she could handle herself and get the tomcat off her.

he's not really helping anything. the cat is in heat, and the male knows. during mating, females are someone resistant to the males at first, and even during the mating the female will often cry loudly as the male's penis has spines. this is normal behavior. if the concern is with keeping the cat population down, the female needs to be spayed, separating them for a few minutes does nothing. as soon as he left this cat, it probably mated with a male.

I have a stray cat in my frontyard, she's quite small and cute. I make a shelter for her in the corner on my frontyard. She never went too far, she even following me and my dog on the morning walk. Then every night since maybe a week ago she attacked by stray male cats. I've spotted two or maybe three male cats, the gray ones, tabby ones (i always went outside when i heard the commotion). Unlike the video, these male cats are big, almost the size of my dog. I guess this about territory of the stray cats here and i'm fully aware that the cat which i take care got scared to death that she will run and hide under my car. Lets see if they dare to attack her again, i'm ready with my water sprayer.

Gah, this is why it's best to get cats neutered and spayed when possible. When in heat, male cats can get really aggressive towards other cats while trying to mount them, which can be dangerous when not in a safe environment where breeding can be regulated, and puts the cats in a bad position to have to rear children in the wild. Thank you for protecting them.

Clearly the sweet female cat sees the lovely human as the alpha male of the pack since he consistently provides food. The bully boy sees the kind human as his competition hence why he persists in trying to mate with the sweet female cat first. It's a claim of territory and hierarchy which is completely normal with cats of all breeds including lions. Even the bully boy sees the kind human as part of the pack since all the wild cats come together around the food source.

lol these cats are the most alley cat lil guys and gals ive ever seen. fighting is just part of their day it seems to be normal for them, they are all relaxed and chill but also fighting constantly because of breeding instincts id assume.
