from a lore perspective, this fate is pretty tragic. lets list how all winners seasons ended! Grian: Jumped to his death after killing scar Scott: Stuck down by lightning moments after he won Pearl: Died after Scott killed himself with tnt in order to let her win Martin: ran out of time (about 1:38 minutes left before he died) Scar: he... he didn't die... he's just kinda stuck until the watchers want to watch them all kill eachother again. Scar just can't catch a break rn can he? (Events before RealLife)
Not only that, but when he pressed the "complete task" button, he was given 10 hearts and another task. He opens that task, and it reads "win secret life." Again. But he already won secret life, so hypothetically, he would've pressed it again, gotten more hearts just to be given his next task, "win secret life." He is basically stuck in a purgatory where he can't die and is stuck in the borders where he killed all his friends with no way out, which in my opinion is worse than death.

SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP CHEWING ON THE BARS LOSING MY MIND MELTING INTO A LITTLE PUDDLE GOING INSANE THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL . i love the way that so many of the ghosts have just enough features that you can kinda guess at who they are, like gems antlers and bdubs bandana and clock, and also in the memories at 0:58 and the next two frames none of the other players faces being drawn is so haunting and 2:13 which is (i think, i could be getting this totally wrong) pearls body with flowers placed next to it.... man that fucked me up someone else already mentioned this, but i love the idea of him taking care of all of the pets and animals that were left behind (hopefully ethos dishwasher is still doing well)
I'm floored, I loved every frame of this. The flowers, the design, Scar's braids, the emotion, the ghost tat haunt him while still accompagning him, the progression of his life as he stilltry to move forward despite his crushing losses and loneliness, the way he try to cope by taking care of the pets, talking to them, the way he gravitate toward the Secret Keeper because he can't forgot... He was the villain and now, taking care of the pets and rebuilding, putting flowers on Pearl death site, he show his true colors; those of a man who never wanted this. I absolutely adored the end sequence with "home", the parrarels between the lyrics and his reality was heartbreaking. "Home is where you are", but he's alone with the ghost of his dead friends still haunting him. TLdR: I absolutely loved this animatic. Thank you for sharing it with us, I'll definitely keep up an eyes for your future content!

A beautiful choice of music :D I really like how you use different hues for fore/mid/background in the beginning, it gives a lot of depth and they are nicely picked colors. The camera panning around at 0:51 and 2:51, you nailed the movement of these two shots! I like that it happens twice because parallels are cool. B) After reading the description I noticed that at 1:44, the figures around Scar are the ghosts of the other long gone players. And the white ghosts that wisp around him are the previous winners. "Do not walk to where you were, to where you're standing." The song lyrics on this part especially fit so so well. Also, 1:40 the cat woke up! Grian (I assume it's Grian) at the end, calling Scar back for the new season is a great touch. At first I interpreted Scar's facial expression as surprise with some fear, because the hand on his shoulder attached to the mysterious figure is slightly ominous. But now I can see recognition, still some surprise, and a little hope, because he must recognize Grian who he hasn't seen in a year. And this may seem random, but you draw boots really well! 0:28 It's all very well done, you put a lot of thought into this animatic. :D
