I really really REALLY do not understand all of the backlash toward this performance. Lucius is one of the greatest live acts I've had the privilege to see, so I'm very confused on what is so bad here.
What's with all the negative comments? Lucius is one of my favorite bands, they are so awesome live.
This group is the best live performance I have ever seen. bone chilling talent.
Lucius is a top 3 live band that I’ve seen in my lifetime, and I can say that, conservatively speaking, I’ve seen 200+ bands perform live.
i freaking love lucius! when they sing this live I always want to cry. so emotional, so good!
This is fantastic. They're not like every other artist that hops on that stage every week. Their raw talent and visual concept to match the music is simply brilliant!
If you don't like this song, listen to anything off of their album Wildewoman and your cold icy heart will melt. Don't let a couple of embellished capes scare you.
1st minute; 'who are these people?'
2nd; 'Huh, that's something you don't often see often'.
3rd; 'Whoa, better keep an eye on this group!'

The sound is actually very good! I think the vibe and look are a bit weird for the general public, but i like it!
That's pretty much what I got after watching this.
The song is a bit unconventional in its structure and build-up, at least in contrast to what some people are used to.
Without being able to really describe it, the song just feels interesting to me.
And the voices are fine, they are just working with more nuances in a higher pitch.
I think you may be reaching... for attention. It's ok, we still love you.

If you guys listen to other live versions of this it sounds so much better.
These singers are the best so far in this group of performers on Late Night. Not wild about the repetitive " I'm the one whose gone insane", but their voices together sound good.

I like that they dressed up, a bit of weird glam is good for a live performance, and I liked the song _once they started singing in harmony._ Two singers just singing the same note is a singalong - maybe fun for them, but not very interesting to listen to.
I can only imagine Fred Armisen watching this and wishing he had thought this up for a Portlandia skit.

I think they are cool. This is a challenging song. Easier to just listen and not watch- then the artistry comes through

I'm not sure what the point of this song is... it seems like the point of having 2 singers in a pop group is to have crazy awesome vocal harmonies, but this feels super underwhelming... the backup band did more interesting harmonies than the lead singers... this is dumb...
