Escanaor is not the pinnacle of all races, it's just Escanor believes it so. Pinnacle of all races means stronger than demon king, stronger than Meliodas in his full power, stronger than chaos, stronger than supreme mother goddess. If he is stronger than them, then HE IS THE PINNACLE OF ALL RACES. The pinnacle of all races goes to Meliodas though.

Amazing. Neel figured out that Escanor is the strongest at high noon just from Escanor being first introduced. It is exactly as you said. At exactly 12pm high noon, Escanor is at the peak of his power and enters a new form called The One. The Japanese kanji is actually even more badass. The Japanese kanji is 天上天下唯我独尊, which translates into Above the Heavens and Beneath the Heavens, Only I Alone Reign Supreme. To put that into perspective, throughout Season 2, Escanor didn't even use The One at all, and he was kicking the Ten Commandments around left and right as if they were just trash. He at most entered a supremely buffed state due to being close to high noon, probably between 11.30am to 12pm.

I always wonder why people do not give Escanor credit when they see him. Because fans already have seen KING who looks like a KID or gooffy, fatty dude and know in his base he was stronger thna Ban and Meliodas. Contrast between day escanor and night Escanor is amazing and it was written to feel shocked and pumped when he changes,but why do not believe that skinny, softspoken, shaking man is actually strong after everythign we have seen ? Meliodas also looks like a kid, Gowther is crossdressing doll..I mean,we have been already used to people not looking like they can kick ass and actually being able to. It's the thought process of showing what was in the writers head. Even the writer agrees that later season feel off. The built up to Demon King was not executed properly instead terribly poorly consider how well the set up every sin. The purgatory arc could've been done a 1000 times better. Ban almost feels irrelevant in the last seasons before entering purgatory ( Ban's my favorite character btw and he was used as a body bag pretty much since season 3) . @@lordniher that was only possible to reach that high of a powerlevel bc escanor stored heat in his axe, and he absorbed the heat adding onto his power level, also the heat in his axe was absorbed over time, and also when escanor is in his pride mode, some of the heat goes into the axe, if we want to assume that the timespan from s2- s3 ep 13 was about a few weeks, it would make sense why it would be that level, but if it was a few days it would only jump to about 100K
