Let's talk about your first question ... Yes it will definitely increase the cpu performance of the laptop but that wont be too much and not that much noticeable for medium usages.. It will affect the processing speed. Talking about the next question, as u mentioned your use in point number 2 you should go for i5. And when it comes to opening any file, application, etc hdd plays an important role. So I would recommend you to go for the x360 version with ssd. That will definitely increase the performance. Then about generation I'll check which is available for the good price. If the 10th gen is way costlier than 8th gen, I'll go for 8th gen coz that will satisfy my need. One question, I have the hp pavilion x360 version 14-dh0002la it is i7 8th gen, 256gb and 8gb of ram, but it only has an Intel UHD Graphics 620 card ... do you know if I can add an nvidia and increase the ram? @@elsayedazab6 I haven't used it with word.. I don't think we need it in Microsoft Word.. We can use it to move the pointer.. Draw the shapes etc..
