It has been alot of fun. I am wondering now if I should have gotten the cousin instead, alot more room. I am making it work just fine for me right now. I am seriously loving this Hobonichi.
Not lost! Just behind :) Love the switch! I started last year in an EC Daily Duo but switched to a Hobonichi Cousin around July because I wanted the week view and daily view in one book instead of having 2 planners. I've switched to a Sterling Ink A5 for this year because it's more neutral and less structured. Love that the "daily" pages aren't dated so they're there when I need them but I don't feel obligated to use them every day if I don't (because blank pages drive me bonkers!). And the paper in the Hobo/Sterling Ink lets me use my fountain pens for more than just journaling ;)
I had to stop using my fountain pens in both the Week and A6 until I get some archival ink. It drives me nuts when it smears. I had a couple of good days with no smears, then I touched the page days later and it smeared :( So I am back to my Sarasa Clip for now. I will be getting that ink because I was loving using my fountain pens again.
@@lifewithdebe9777 I highly recommend Robert Oster inks!! The ones with sheen/shimmer smear a little (nature of the beast) but the ones that are just shaders are amazing at staying put! I've been loving my RO Sydney Lavender in my journal. Van Dieman and De Atramentis are in my non-smear rotation too!
Aloha! I also switched from EC to Hobonichi (Weeks & A5 Cousin Avec). It's been fun setting it up and figuring out my new planning style 😊
Aloha! :)

I really like this size! :)
Me too!

@@whitneysmith2208 Thank you so much for the recommendation! I will definitely start looking into those. That lavender sounds so pretty
