Wow DarthAngelus gave us a bit of everything in this chapter! Thrawn, C'Baoth, Pellaeon, major action scenes, TIEs, X-Wings, Talon and Mara, Luke, Leia and Han and the Falcon! Everything flowed very well, the CG is better than ever and the voice acting has greatly improved overall; keep up the great work!
This is my all time favourite chapter you've made! I mean, yes, this is where space battles occur and all that, but the execution of your animation, music and all were GREAT! I like how you used the theme of the Emperor zapping Luke from ROTJ to show the Rebel ships getting trounced. With no follow up music (of when Vader threw Palpatine into the reactor shaft (what was that doing in his throne room anyway?)), the hopelessness was really felt! I also like the voice actors! C'both petulant "where are my Jedi?", and Thrawn's humouring condescension where REALLY expressed well! Along with Han and Luke's voice actors! My only negative is that the character animation still seems off, but this is still very good for the shoestring budget I know you have (as opposed to the big Hollywood productions) Keep up the great work!
It's been my favourite chapter to make! I had so much fun with it and seeing how well it's been recieved makes me happy. The music you described is actually from the final episode of Rebels. It felt like it works better with the scene than the original version did.
I love how you combined themes from Rebels in this episode. The music where Thrawn bombards Attalon and the music where Ezra watches Thrawn bombard his home on Lothal. Rebels may not be as great as Clone Wars, but the music was top notch!
While I love this series, can we also remember that Timothy Zahn wrote this story, not them? However, they're doing a stellar job of bringing it to life.
@@Cobra_125 He gets points for the adaptation. But yes, Timothy Zahn wrote it. He wrote it to be adapted to the big screen, too. George Lucas said 'no.'
My favorite part of this had to be seeing the battle play out. You spent the perfect amount of time on the fighting while also dedicating just enough on Palleon, Thrawn, and C'byoth that we had while reading. It was...artistically done
Thankyou! When it came to writing the script, the book focuses mostly on the characters and not so much on the battle. Which is fine, that's how it needed to be in the book. But for a visual medium, like animation, we really needed to see some of the battle too.
@@DarthAngelus That's right, some battle action offset with proper dialogue helps the smooth pace and transition of the story - that makes this chapter very watchable as the story flows very nicely. Terrific work!

It could be an animated series in the style of Avatar or something (not 3D, I get tired of that, it could be close to an anime I guess), and we can watch the continued adventures of Luke Han and Leia. The show can end with the finale of the Yuuzhan-Vong War, and the final defeat of the dark side, while Luke just unleashes his full potential along with his Jedi students, Mara, Han, Leia, and Rouge Squadron. It would be so badass.
@@ondrejm5042 Good point... but I'd rather not wait decades for the much needed course correction to get the Sequel era closer to the original Expanded Universe.
Leia have 3 children :
1 Jacen Solo
2 Jaina Solo
3 Anakin Solo
Luke have 1 children :
Ben Skywalker
@@christianvincentcostanilla8428 I'm aware, but I'm not opposed to in this situation cutting out the Callista Ming arc and hooking up Luke/Mara 7 years earlier. Thus more kids for them being possible.
Loved this episode! The Mara Jade character animation looked amazing!!Cannot wait to hear her voice and see her in action.C'Baoth looked amazing too.Congrats, and please keep up the awesome work!!
I'm really excited for her big scenes later on too :D
@@DarthAngelus Please keep up the awesome work!!p.s..do you have any more posters of Heor to the Empire that you showed off in an earlier vid?😉
@@DarthAngelus So you have scheduled more than just 10 chapters? Awesome. Glad you can go on for a while. Even if you just adapt this book it will be worth it.
Ready and waiting for the next chapter. Excellent job.
This is just awesome, I love it and Im happy that someone is doing the books into series, Big Big THANK YOU!!!
It's a lot of work, but I'm enjoying it :D
That TIE bomber scene was perfect
just started reading this trilogy and got to chapter 10 and decided to finally watch this
Simply marvelous! I've looked at other incarnations of HTTE on RUclips and this series is hands-down my favorite version. The sound work is especially enjoyable! I eagerly await your following chapters and am sharing these with my friends. You've a new subscriber. Cheers!
The thumbnail alone for the video looks amazing!!
God this is SO much better than the sequels
That space battle was glorious! The best thing I have seen!
Thankyou! It was a lot of fun to do :)
Fantastic as always. Seems like you picked up a few new animation tricks with the camera position during the dogfight. its been a pleasure to follow this project of yours and I cannot understate the quality of your work or how exciting it is to see you constantly working to make it as high quality as possible.
That battle, WOW! Excellent work. Great movement and clear action. And knowledgeable choice of ship models.
The voice work continues to be great too. Tremendous work!
TY so much for all the time put into this. I cant properly express my gratefulness to you. This is better than the movies so far and you really capture the tone of the setting in the transitions and sound effects. Such a labor of love. Your a legend!
Yup, pretty much!
Love this!! Thanks for the Hard work
Impressive work as usual! Also, I have to tell you that especially the Han Solo voice acting is spot-on!
Han is voiced by Matt Finish. He also voices Luke in this chapter, along with Threepio, Ackbar and Obi-Wan in previous chapters. Check out his RUclips channel ruclips.net/channel/UC1Rbz5smKiTViRushbbW16g
I hope you can appreciate the excitement you brought when I saw a new chapter was out. I just watched it, and I think this is the best done so far. It's getting better and better and exceeding my expectations. Fantastic!
Talon Karrde was my favourite character, I’m genuinely excited to see him making an appearance! Although I am somewhat puzzled by his hair, I certainly remember a characteristic patch of white hair.
God I love this show.
Same here
you're constantly improving! this is considerably better than the first episodes. still has some slightly rough bits, but its really enjoyable and i love it, and i can't wait to see more!
Monumental effort, well done!
So GREAT! Love the care and time taken to craft each chapter, this is a series that OBLITERATES anything Disney Star Wars, thank you for making these!
Question, is the voice actor for C'Baoth an old man or just really good at doing an old man voice?
These are so good man, keep up the great work! Can't wait for the next one.
Thankyou! :)
Outstanding another chapter nice one
This need to be cannon and good job with this video keep it up because you have more heart then the people at Disney now and should pay you for putting out this
Don't know how you do this, Mr Legend, but it was great effort.
This is fantastic! Thanks, Darth Angelus! :-)
Thank you DarthAngelus!
Another great episode!! Well done!!! Looking forward to the next one!
Love your work!!!!
That moment when the best Disney and Lucasfilm can do is light years behind a RUclips animation
I'm totally into this and it is striking how fan films hit the heart of Star Wars in spite of having comparatively tiny resources to work with, but--I think that Disney-Lucasfilm has had a few fine moments that are of a kind with this, not light years behind. In Rogue One, especially.
@@ja8ames agree Clone Wars was pretty awesome as well.
It breaks my heart that this isnt getting the views it deserves
Looking better and better every episode! Rewatching these now and it’s so exciting to see things develop! I’m especially enjoying the space battles! (As an aside, Thrawn subtly mocking C’boath always cracks me up. I love an irritated/unimpressed, sarcastic Thrawn).
Amazing work animating the battles - well worth the wait between episodes!
Thankyou! :D
Oh I have missed this. I am picking up right where I left off. Have popcorn, have drink... have several episodes to watch. THANK YOUUU!
You did a pretty good job. 👍
Thankyou! :D
The Graphics and Ship battles.... they're so beautiful.
Thankyou! :D
This is my favorite episode yet!
