About Dead End Hip Hop:
No scripts. It's pure unfiltered hip hop conversations and album reviews. No politics. No BS. We Are The People.
When Feefo doesn’t like an album, I automatically check it out. It’s a sign I’ll probably like it.
Agreed lol
Its usually a sign that its amazing and out of the box. Feefo doesnt like any rappers that dont rhyme on the beat or that you cant catch a punch line or reference on the 1st listen
He said he "doesnt wanna be a Debbie Downer" and he isnt, hes more like Simple Simon. He usually goes 1st and when he says "I just couldnt get into it." Im like, "cha-CHING, I gotta check this shit out."
lmao yall doin this man wrong 😂
Good suggestion hahah
I HAVE TO AGREE TO MY MANS.. FEEFO NOT FEELING IT MEANS ITS PURE EASTCOAST BARS AND LOFI SAMPLEDLIA BEATS.
I believe there is Renaissance happening.. it's crazy to me lol nas x and nas share the genre of music how??? I mean I hate the overly gangster aggressive fake shit too.. people want a character not the art of HIPHOP... Dumb rap is CAPITALISM..it's not god and Earth's. It's not pure to the artform..
If the lyrics profound, Feefo ain't hanging around
a maxim
🤣🤣🤣
fo real tho geez
If it don't bump in the whip, it ain't it.
Hahaha. Fun little game.
- If they got something to say, Feefo don't hit play.
- If it got lyrics, Feefo don't wanna hear it.
- If it's thought-provoking or chin-stroking, Feefo's throwin' on Khalifa and smoking
Bruh if I had a penny for every time feefo ever said “I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s just not my type of hip hop”
"i mean it´s cool, just not for me" LOL
He’s a rick Ross fan makes sense
Too layered
@hiphophead555 I respect Feefo's honesty. Not every so-called real rap artist has to appeal to every "real" rap fan. You can love the culture without necessarily enjoying every single got-damn aspect of it. Plus, I think the difference between Feefo and the average listener who prefers mainstream stuff is that Feefo is open to giving abstract rap a chance! You may not think he tries "hard enough", but not everything is for everybody, and that's fine.
C.A. Hall Well said👍🏾
you'll definitely have to get into Akai Solo, Pink Siifu and MIKE
Definitely do
Definitely MIKE
AKAI SOLO's collab album Mad Space is amazing.
Def need a MIKE review
Also Myke C Town need to do a review of NEGRO by Pink Siifu
if you werent sure of how rap ferreira would fit in with armand hammer you should check out his collab album with elucid Nostrum Grocers
love that project
Don't sleep on Akai Solo, MIKE, Pink Siifu, Medhane, Navy Blue. They all killing it 🔥🔥🔥
ay man i know that mask is hurting beezys ears lmfao
Lord help me I feel like the Rza
I’m a black hole, I’m a light bender
that line and the following one have been loopin thru my head for weeks
@@FOUL_TROUBLE saammme
Right before my part they pull blickers....
That Billy verse is the perfect way to start the album.
man I love this record. one of the best rap projects to come out this year. Great flows and abstract beats and lyrics. constantly on replay
This interview hits really different after watching Feefo have a warm reception to Billy Woods "Hiding Places".
billy woods will go down as one of the best poets of the 21st century America. Elucid too, but between this album, Paraffin, Hiding Places, History Will Absolve Me, and Known Unknowns, I mean who writes better than billy woods right now?
No one. Incredible mind
ka, Lupe, Aesop and Mach-Hommy are right there with him
now that he's also released Aethiopes, Church, Maps and WBDTS, it's confirmed that nobody writes better than billy woods right now
Earl up there too
Yall should check out Navy Blue if you haven't, he did a few of the beats on here. His solo album from earlier this year is amazing too
whats your name
sage elsesser
No it’s not it’s pretty bad
He produced solarium. That beat is beautiful
Please review MIKE’s weight of the world album that just dropped
YESSSS!!!!
I’m so glad y’all are doing this. I became a fan of them through paraffin and I’m going through a rabbit hole for billy woods and his discography. They are also up there for me as best duos in music and billy woods is one of most unique writers and rappers ever to me. He’s in a lane of his own the same way as Ka, who’s also one of my favorite rappers ever. Artist like this are why I love underground hip hop so much!!
Myke you need to check out more of August Fanon's work, you'd love his stuff.
Yes this☝🏾☝🏾☝🏾
His beats are CRAZY
y’all are sleeping on August Fanon. Dude produced some of the best beats on Haitian Body Odor.
I’m pretty sure he produced The G.A.T. too, the man is nice
He had a lot of the best joints on Rome too. I've never heard anything else like It Was Written.
Its Agile The GAT is Mach’s best to me and easily a top 30 project of the 2010s. That man august be wylin😩
Yess 🔥🔥🔥
@M C he for sure produced I off the GAT since Mach name drops him in the intro. After listening to a lot more August I honestly can’t see anyone else making the beats on the GAT, I refuse to believe anybody other than him could make IV lmao
I always appreciate Feefo’s honesty.
I was bummed out when this didn’t make anyone’s midyear list so it’s great to see it get some love here.
I don't completely agree that Earl hasn't been in the "killer" mindset or whatever. His verse on Mirage by Quelle Chriss earlier this year really blew me away, but what he was doing on Ramesses II was not quite as nice for me.
Great example, that verse is actually one of my favorites of the year.
“I thought I saw a fountain
I thought I saw me on the other side of the see-saw mounted
Bouncing, on the up-and-up, countin' downers
The rate flounder-flat to bring you 'round the bend and back
But now what?”
Feefo head scratching got me lol
AKAI SOLO is CRAZY yall gotta tap in
he sounds soooo much like Earl
Great question by Modest Media on what it is about this type of rap that Myke enjoys!
I love this album. I been waiting for it since ELUCID dropped 'shit don't rhyme no more'...the skill level goes up and up. billy woods is my favorite modern rapper. Has a space in the top 5 echelon.
YES!!! This and Pink Siifu are locked in my top 10 of the year
They gotta review Pink Siifu
Bradley Bennett why? Like nothing is even said in the tracks? Its just noice. Its like going to an art museum, seeing a garden hose on the floor and its called art...,
been obsessed with DEHH lately
Back to Back videos? dehh been killing it bless up to yall 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 💰
Solarium got me saying "I'm all in the sun" randomly as I do daily activities.
One of my favorite track off the album. That beat is so fresh. "Power people not computers"
lmao!! Me too!
Navy Blue produced the beat
It’s a lot of great underground black projects that need more promo
That damn billy woods verse on pommelhorse… such a vivid picture!
Thanks Myke c town and dead end hip hop for putting me on armand hammer shrines album i play this album on RUclips heavy right now im been playing this album since June i got to by this on cd this album and run the jewels 4 that's playing heavy to on RUclips peace to Billy woods and his rhyme partner the best underground album ever even in these times were in right now is right next to some rap songs broken love letter etc.. peace to dead end hip hop sometimes underground is made for the real heads and you got some is not made for everyone at the end of the day is about the audience that you made it for peace
You all really gotta do the Mike & Medhane albums. Would also love to hear Myke speak on the Backxwash album.
Respect to Armand Hammer dope project. Guys we are waiting for that new flygod project review
Do yall got that Apollo Brown/Che Noir review in the pipeline?
So good to see y’all in the studio again!
YESSS! Bigg Jus Love!!! Peeped that line too. Someone find Lune TNS 👀
Fools dont know
Earl saved his bars for MIKE'S recent project lol. Also this album is great.
This makes sense because he definitely spazzed on Mike’s album
Rap Ferreira was also my favorite feature on this amazing project, his recent album Purple Moonlight page’s is still one of my favorite projects this years. I’m on the side that really enjoys Quelle Chris addition.
Purple moonlight pages undefeated this year. The way he has evolved is amazing, keeps getting better.
Wow didn't expect this one to get reviewed
Myke gotta check out MIKE.
Looking at Beezys ear out of shape got me slightly uncomfortable
I just got this record in the mail today. What a coincidence.
race music still one of my favorites of all time. billy woods and elucid are dope as hell
Race Music, Furtive Movements, Paraffin are my favorites
This one is pretty great addition to the discography imo features were solid and I agree that Earl was holdin back a bit
This album was fantastic, favorite of the year so far
I really like how Modest said "appreciate the ideas"
GREAT STUFF GUYS LOVE FROM SOUTH AFRICA
check out Mad Space and Like Hajime by Akai Solo and the new MIKE album.
AOTY contender
Hopefully you guys can check out the new MIKE album too!!! ‘Weight of the World’
I agree with Beezy, I loved Paraffin, this'll have to grow on me
Here we go!!!!!
Made my day
King tubby is produced by Nicholas Craven, one of the best producers in the game. Check him out!
Why is Mike's mask so small...asking for a friend.
his mask is so small so that you and your friend can kiss his cheeks properly.
@@nimaxx a yooo🤣🤣🤣🤣☠
It covers the nose and mouth that’s all that matters
It’s not that it’s small, he just has it up high and tucked under his glasses frames so that his shit doesn’t fog up.
August fanon has produced a lot for them on the past, produced heaps for mach hommy too
REVIEW THE NEW MIKE ALBUM
New Armand Hammer project droppin, produced by Alchemist called "Haram"
Been waiting on this one...
Finally an Armand Hammer Review!! Next up Mach‘s Hard Lemonade 👍🏽
This album is amazing!
I would love to see a review of weight of the world by MIKE
You gotta check out more AKAI SOLO or review his next project when it comes out. He sounds a bit like Earl, yeah, but he's an awesome artist in his own right
He doesn't sound like ear at all his style is so completely different from anyone out
His own style is so distinct, completely different to Earl. I think Akai Solo has got one of the most unique delivery, flows and voice
You mean Earl sounds like these niggas. They all been making this type of music, Earl is just popular bro😂😂
Fefo is special
Is Feefo finally being honest? Wow
Please please PLEASE review RAP Ferreira's Purple Moonlight Pages
Beezy is bugging on the Quelle feature😂😂Chris was STYLIN'
Excellent review guys! This album is fantastic, been a huge fan since Race Music. The first listen was hard because for some reason I felt disappointed but I kept holding on. After my 4th listen I finally cracked the coding lol. The way they flowed over these beats are just mind blowing. I think this album has potential to be better than Paraffin, so far they're tied imo. Everything you guys said I totally agree beside Feefo, I never expected him to like it anyway lol. Armand Hammer discography is nuts, have no clue how they do it!
This is album can easily be my number 1 or 2 album of the year. There's so much to unpack and that's the fun part.
I don’t blame you, I do like Parraffin a little bit more but I wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes my new favorite Armand Hammer project. On first listen this entire project blow my mind. Billy and Elucid are otherworldly with there flows, cadence, and lyrics. I love music where you have to pull back the layers to really understand and appreciate.
@@Tod-sc4lm well said Son! This is right up my alley as well. I love how the cover relates to the overall theme. I know that seems cliche but the message really connected even though it can be abstract throughout the run. Paraffin is probably their best but this album is really unique compared to the other three.
What do you think they will do next?
rainman Exactly. That’s another thing I love about Armand Hammer, I have no idea what they could do next lol. There so uniquely abstract and esoteric with what they do so I have no idea what to expect and they can always hit me with a curveball. That’s one of the many things that keeps me and avid listener. Like you mentioned with the front cover, you only will know what it means if you take the time to figure what they mean. It fits the theme and what they talk about in there music in a very unique way. Artist like these always have a message which is what I typically like in my music. Pretty much everything you said is also how l feel. Lol
i put this on everytime i take a 2hour or longer bus ride..... always the 1st album i start off with lol
Fucking love this album
Rome streetz!!! Noise Kandy 4!!!! Quit sleepin!!!!! B knows what’s good!!!
What is this 'No Politics' shit I keep hearing? Hip-Hop is the most political contemporary musical form. In that sense it is the successor to what used to be called folk music. Rap music without politics is as worthwhile as hair metal. Anyway, Armand Hammer is delivering the goods as usual. That is all.
I'm with Beezy, i love Quelle Chris, but his flow was kinda annoying and a drag to get through. Earl was also disappointing but he didn't take away from the track. Akai Solo killed that feature though, easily the best feature on the album (R.A.P Ferreira 2nd). Brilliant album, still one of if not the best of the year. King Tubby song of the year
Feefo reminding me of why he cause me to check out of DEHH for a coupla years. He's not the sharpest blade in the drawer. Having said that, if he says he doesn't like something you can almost guarantee it's high quality real hip-hop.
Help me out here yall: how do you spell the artist that Beezy mentioned at 4:00? Tryna do my homework out here!
thank you for the armand hammer review, do the ransom, nicholas craven joints, director's cut 1 and 2 please
IM ALL IN THE SUN
You mean to tell me Armie Hammer the a tor did not release a rap album?
Almost lost hope y'all would do it!
August fanon is a God tier producer y’all really need to check him out he’s criminally underrated n he SOOO VERSATILE he’s got a collab project with mach-Hommy, gorgeous production on that album, match with ghetto poetry at its best.... y’all really need to review that one
first Armand Hammer project I did not care for.
Nah Shrines is amazing it’s a 9.5/10 🏆
Weight of the World by MIKE, check it out.
Coming back after a few months, this album is not delivering for me like Paraffin does. Beezy's right about the production being too varied to be cohesive, and a lot of the features let the album down heavily. Armand Hammer is still the illest but I want a more focused album next time.
Review that Apollo Brown/Che Noir album GENTS!
No charms love ;(
y'all really need to check out Mavi - Let The Sun Talk
You guys don’t have to but take the time you listen MIKE’s album weight of the world
Are you guys reviewing big krit KRIT wuz here album
August Fanon is the 🐐🐐
August Fanon the God yall gotta tap in
Black poetic raps aint Feefo thing
I feel feefo is more a delivery guy
Music wise New York and other coast states are holding down the underground
You ain’t gotta be here if you don’t wanna, literally stoped watching this the minute he said “I don’t like”
Feefo basic af...🤦🏿♂️
Its reviews like this that make me think bruh let's swap Feefo with Rod so that we can actually see Rod giving his input. Feefo be like, "if the lyrics too deep, imma go to sleep (@11:40).........
Flavor flav is my shit, the rest of this album is kinda ehh to me personally.
I got ideals & dreams that don’t work in practice
I got a time machine and it don’t go backwards 😒
War Stories tho??
"Herky Jerky" lol foh
bad neighbor. plz.
Wat feefo said about this album is how I feel about the latest ka album
Nah I’m still waiting on the Westside Gunn Review
he droped AGAIN?
booty
