I've always loved Eric and his vocals (his charisma and interview skills were entertaining too of course!) but I started listening to Eric's songs more seriously when I was going through a breakup in 2019- his songs helped me heal and grow, and I will forever be grateful for his beautiful lyrics and melodies. Then when I started dating again in 2020, I was so happy to share Eric's songs with him, and it brought us even closer (Love Die Young became one of his favorite songs, along with Runaway).. but life happened and at the beginning of this year, we broke up. But things became a bit better because Eric's latest album came out on my birthday (January 7th) and it was honestly the greatest gift ever. I can literally relate to every single song, and it's just an AMAZING album in general- my sister got me his album book and cd, and we even got tickets to see Eric on tour in February.. which got cancelled due to lockdown (we're in Toronto ㅠㅠ) , but I'm not giving up, I WILL see Eric live one day! But the point is, Eric is such an amazing artist that has touched all of our lives in various ways, and he deserves every amazing thing that will surely come his way. Thank you Eric, for sharing your talent with the world ❣️❣️
