The managing of units is oke but the battles kinda go the same way every time. Enemy just throwing stuff at you. Granted, its better than earlier eugen titles but the AI is still a bit on the predictable and easy side. Maybe thats just the case for the no lifers such as myself
If you want to cheese and speedrun, then just avoid battles. Go around any resistance. This works in all maps except karelia and baltics. Encircle the battalions and then just go to the frontline.
Thanks for this tutorial, just bought the game. Also, LOL @ "Cartoon Network Symbol" hahahaha. I wonder what the official military nomenclature for that insignia is.
@15:45 You want to pick the highest prioity phase units possible for combat since they will be allowed to be deployed throughout more of the combat. You got teeth kicked in since you did the exact reverse of that. You left your unit in the A phase woefully out numbered (& your B phase was your fresh B unit and whatever poor souls survived from the fight at 3:1 odds from phase A, carried over to phase C with your fresh C unit and whatever remnants survived from B phase). @18:25 is the correct way you were suppose to deploy, having 3 units for all 3 of the phases.
Thank you for the guide. Do you know how air superiority on a strategic map influences tactical battles? It seems to me enemy plains can still join tactical battles. Does air superiority only stop strategic bombardments? PS. - Attack a routed unit to completely destroy it. Keep a second phase A unit ready for this at the border. - Fortified units will abandon their positions if a unit is attacked near them and no other units can join this battle except the fortified one. Thus if arti and bombers can isolate 2-3 units one or 2 of which are fortified it is possible to attack the not-fortified unit to deny any fortifications in this battle.
the AI cannot fly their planes through the CAP zone, their planes will be intercepted and sent back. The AI really don't do that but you might send in some planes that get intercepted or fly through a deployed AA. which means they will not partake in the combat.
@@Minuz1 Do you mean strategic map only or in tactical battles as well? So I can not take my aircraft into a tactical combat as one of 3 divisions in case AI places a CAP zone on the strategic map in this sector?
@@AndyAtar If you deploy the fighters on CAP in the strategic layer they will not participate in the tactical element outside of blocking enemy airplanes joining the battle.
At 14:30 he shows how to eliminate units prior to battle I think this is somewhat incorrect as if a unit is ADJACENT TO THE unit you are attacking they are included in the battle .. this is what happens with me anyway
@SaucyNetwork 7:20 you are talking about a dug in unit which isn't dug in, it's in the process of digging in, needs 1 turn to be considered dug in. You dig?
I set difficulty on "medium" , the very first battle USSR enemy send me in da face 300-320 units, from 4 divisions, most of them massive blops of infantry. As Wehrmacht I only had 150 units I could deploy with my 3 divisions. Just 1 question WTF is wrong with difficulty?
First time to play this type of RTS WW 2 game genre . Im liking the game, does the arty and mortar units, fire automatically or you always need give them targets?
i've a question, below the company list for example when u click on any type of units, it shows the percentage company loses...how do i increase it back to full 100%?
@@SaucyNetworkEntertainment , when I tried watching the tutorials video 4 was listed as blocked or removed, I don't remember the exact phrase but I could not view video 4 of your steel divsion 2. Allemachtig...
Thanks for all your tutorials ! I almost gave up the game before watching, now you made me want to play and to discover the game !
Thanks man! glad it helped
Enjoy and appreciate the tutorials! This game mode is kicking my A** on easy...
Mewwwww
That's a fantastic tutorial , i've only discovery this game in 2024
This was really helpful, you are a scholar and a gentleman for sharing thank you!
Great idea with the shorter length. I watch them all. :) Thank you!
Why does everybody say that the campaign mode is sh**? In contrary, it looks very interesting to me
yes i like the micromanaging you need to use your head like a real strategist

Deployed also means that if a unit is attacked, it will be a defensive battle rather than a meeting engagement.
Looking forward to your new campaign SN!

For autoresolve yes. But for regular battles, it doesnt matter.
Thank you, good video! Need the same tutorial for Campaign Wargame: Red Dragon :))
Thanks, so much beter then the hiden ingame manual. By the way you can complete both objectives by encircling them, without having to figth them.

Oh wow!!
I thought I knew almost everything, this is SOOOO helpful man, thanks a lot!!
Btw, do you recommend "auto deployment too? or no?
Tried ag with my brother versus yesterday, so much better then against an ai
Good to hear
Very helpfull, thank you.
Youre welcome!
What does the Asterisk (*) next to units on the campaign map mean when setting up a battle?
Can't initiate combat, it's mostly for support regiments such as artillery.
@@Minuz1 ahh gotcha
Great video thanks! Now the in-game tutorials will be faster to comprehend.
Could anyone explain what is the advantage of using the HQ unit in campaign? In terms of field units it is normally a light unit.

Good one brah
Very good

What does yellow on the unit icons in the bottom left box mean?
Also are there any ways that battalions are replenished over time?
batallions are not replenished over time no. THe yellow units basically mean very experienced units

the difficulty effects which type of units the ai has. so the blops of infantry would have been higher tier units.

Sadly there is no way to replenish units at the moment.
@@SaucyNetworkEntertainment ahh ok, good to know saucy...appreciate that
orsha is not complex its jsut map size
best war game there is right with muis front graviteam
so even if on the campaign map you have 5 different regiments that can all join the battle, can you only pick 3 out of the 5?
yes
