"I was coming out of the break room, and my manager pushed me back in and said, 'get down, get down, get down,' me and my five other coworkers. And she, we all holding each other, you know, saying, shielding each other, making shielding each other, Okay. Well, we kept hearing stuff and then we just was like, who is that? Who is there? Like, we thought it was the shooter and we got nervous or whatever. We were just holding each other.

"I mean, we got out, he was on the ground. The police were surrounding him. He had, like. It seemed as though they fired at him because he was on the ground, but his hand was kind of next to the gun, but it wasn't. So it was like they were just telling him, like, to stay as he was. And I kind of had to, like, creep around him to like, get my phone like, we left. I left my phone right there, like, right where he was, like, my phone was there. Everything was there., and like, I kind of had to tiptoe around for, like, it was crazy. And then going to the, to the entrance where, like the, the pizza places and like the Mexican restaurant, there was blood all over the place.

"So I was about to go to the other building, but I just decided to, I don't know if it was just me being worried about my phone, but I was just staying back to just see what was going to happen. So while we were a couple of us were still back, like trying to looking around the corner just to see what was going on, he was kind of like scoping of the place around to figure out who else to shoot. So then the police started coming in a bit by bit, and then they that's where they met up with him."

"You never know what can happen and it just happens out of nowhere. It was so scary. My thoughts was I was never gonna make it home to my son, and that scared me. And my, my heart was beating so fast. My coworkers heart was beating so fast. My managers, we closed the gates. We closed everything. Everybody left.
9. Police riding motorcycle across the street
STORYLINE:
Authorities say a gunman shot three people at a food court in downtown Atlanta before then getting shot by a police officer.
Police say all four people who were shot Tuesday afternoon at the Peachtree Center food court are expected to survive, including the suspect.
During a news conference, Mayor Andre Dickens praised the responding officer who wounded the gunman.
He said things could have been much worse.
Peachtree Center is a complex of office towers and an underground mall just blocks from several hotels that are popular venues for Atlanta’s busy convention business.
