  • Join us for a dream tour and ride along with Buick's 1948 Super model 56C Super "Sedanette". The classic sister car to the Roadmaster, this stunning post-war Torpedo Back cruiser was restored in the late 1970s by a local Texas Doctor and is just a gorgeous old car. This automobile was filmed by Samspace81 with my friend Brent at FAST440. The Sedanette body is hard to find. I had a lot of fun making this nostalgic 4K UHD video, true Americana.

Hello I'm from Russia, your car is simply a work of art, I am delighted. All my life, since childhood, I dreamed of what not to be, American retro car, Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler or Dodge. is not important, they are all good. None in the world better and more beautiful cars than the Americans, they have style, personality, they have a soul. Many thanks to your channel without seeing these cars live, though there have a look at them, and the forest man's tears, lest when I did not go to such.

The Volga seems like a pretty nice car to me, except that it is saddled with only a 4 cylinder. One of those with a small V8 would probably quite nice, as it has what I demand in a car - bench seats, column gear shift, plenty of chrome trim on the DeLuxe model, a nice steering wheel with a horn-blowing ring.

I've seen pictures of 1 yr. old me and our Buick Sedanette in our driveway. Not sure of the year. The tired '36 Ford 2 Dr. Sedan with almost 300K mileage, thanks to numerous military moves, was traded in and the Buick in two tone gray was purchased, albeit with a Hydro-matic / Dynafrow (automatic?) transmission, which Dad said leaked. In 1951 the Buick was sold for the Hudson Hornet. Thanks for the memories. Narragansett Bay.

Gorgeous machine. The video was done nicely too. I liked seeing those details close up. Back then artistry was put into everything. Function is important, but seeing beauty around you is too. We've forgotten that big time. That sedanette styling is a fav of mine. I like all the models that used it. So streamlined. That straight-8 was one of the most balanced engines ever produced. You could pull a train with it.

That was the step dad's dream car. We lived in North West ohio . The salt claimed it. The old Buick rode in his memories. As it was full of fish gear. He even installed a speaker in the trunk lid so as he could hear the Toledo mud hens. (On wspd radio) by opening the trunk and plugging in a phone jack. Ah the easy life. 73 de kv4li
