    i am making this for my grandmother for her birthday tomorrow. i think may try to figure out how to turn it into a pin for her jacket. thank you for all the wonderful tutorials and at a slow enough pace to understand and keep up.

      I think that would be a wonderful idea to make it a pin. Perhaps you could use a pin back inside while doing the weaving.

    I really like your video showing in detail how to do it. Another channel I watch has creative ideas, but goes so fast without really explaining. Probably okay for more experienced, but I can't follow. Yours are so easy to follow successfully. Thank you.

      I'm just waiting for the next payday to get this wire. What I have now is not the right gauge. I am thinking of glueing a small crystal in the center of the rose. :-)

    • @bonniekonjevich7574
      @bonniekonjevich7574 6 лет назад +1

      YOU PROBABLY KNOW BY NOW, BUT FOR ME IT WORKED TO HAVE ONE WIRE 45 DEGREES FROM THE OTHER AS YOU TWIST AROUND. I WOULD ALWAYS TWIST THE MOVING WIRE UNDER THE ONE IN THE DIRECTION I AM GOING. SQUARE WIRE MAKES MORE DRAMATIC ROSES WITH THE SAME EFFORT.

    • @bettybare3320
      @bettybare3320 5 лет назад +1

      also TAKE BREAKS FROM IT, A FEW DAYS IF IT IS REALLY FRUSTRAITING, LOL, then come back. Don't give up. It really will get better. I did that with knitting, but I came back after a year, and wow, It realy does work.

  • @MichellesHandmadeCreations
    @MichellesHandmadeCreations 7 лет назад +2

    Oh, the wires "chase" each other. I thought you had coiled 2 slightly pre-twisted wires. Shows what little I know. How you visualize a project to get from step 1 to the final step is beyond me. Would you consider this a beginner project, or is your demo just so good that it's deceivingly simple? Or which of your projects would you say is a good first project? Link or project name please.
    I have a small garden of roses that I enjoy tending, so having a rose pendant (or a broach) would be such a delight for me.

    Bellissimo! Anche se io non riesco a seguire benissimo, mi piacerebbe che tu eseguissi il movimento per intero almeno una volta (ad esempio arrotolare il filo sul gambo del fiore su entrambi i fili) dopo aver spiegato. Comunque bravissima 🌷

  • @LaTrica01

    would 26 gauge work in place of the 30 door weaving cause u don't have it. I hope I hear from you soon cause I really want to make this for my roommates birthday this month. You make so many other things how did you learn so much cause the sound young

    Perhaps it is my failure, I am not familiar with weaving patterns; this is the first time in any of your videos that I haven't been able to follow along with you to actually know what you are doing. Your initial weave on the stem of the flower is where you lost me the first time, then the weave pattern on the leaf is where you lost me the second time. I think you just assumed as you were doing your work that you were talking to someone very familiar with weaving, rather than teaching a beginner.
